Theme question

Can the Category Oratorios be including as a whole within either Christian art or Biblical art? Or should each oratorio be assessed individually as to a theme category? Jaraalbe (talk) 07:23, 26 March 2008 (UTC)

Both those categories are part of the visual art tree, so should not have music or literature in them. if wanted, a "Biblical music" (well ok, not that name) could be added, going up into Category:Religious music, or an existing sub-cat used. Needless to say, Category:Christian music seems to exist for modern music with English lyrics only, and Category:Christian composers are a rum bunch too. People like Giovanni Pierluigi da Palestrina seem to have no religious categorisation at all - no sorry, he is eventually part of Category:Catholic music, which is hidden away in the tree.
