Navbox separation or cohesion

We could either:

Continue splitting and separating them, leading to navbox proliferation (we currently have 5, and the thread above (now at Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Essays/Archives/2012/August#Essay summaries list) hints at 8)
Combine the navboxes, to prevent redundancy, and highlight their interrelation (using {{Navbox with collapsible groups}} which easily lets only-specific-sections be expanded on any given page, example below)

Nice work, the template looks great! But the question is, will an editor trying to find essays on civility also be interested in essays on deletion?--SGCM (talk) 00:40, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

That's both why it's good, and why it's bad. Eg.1. Notability discussions are inherently about Building/Deleting the 'pedia, and the requirement for Civility is a constant. Eg.2. Someone looking for an essay on Deletion, will probably also be thinking of Civility and Notability. Eg.3. But the other directions, the outliers, aren't quite so immediately pertinent. (eg humour essays, wikifauna (if that were added), etc). Hence the asking for more input :) -- Quiddity (talk) 00:48, 13 August 2012 (UTC)

Can we get this done ...we keep getting inquires about were all the links went from Template:Essays on building Wikipedia - yes they were moved to Template:Essays on notability but know-one knows this. let get this linked together so we dont have to keep replying to were things are.Moxy (talk) 00:30, 13 December 2012 (UTC)

Done! Template:Wikipedia essays is ready to go. Updated all content, fixed the documentation. Is anything else needed, or should we start replacing instances, and notifying people to watchlist this new location? –Quiddity (talk) 05:23, 14 December 2012 (UTC)

2013 Update

I've updated {{Wikipedia essays}} with the content of the 4 separate templates ({{Essays on building Wikipedia}}, {{Civility}}, {{Essays on notability}}, {{Humorous essays}}).
As a test, I've replaced 4 instances of {{Essays on building Wikipedia}} with {{Wikipedia essays|building}}. e.g. here.

Are there any objections, or thoughts, before I/we initiate mass-replacement (and then redirecting) of the 4 separate templates, with this single template? (Bearing in mind that the single template's layout/aesthetics can be tweaked as needed).
