@Hawkeye7: Thanks again for these reviews. You beat me to the punch with your review of Bradley's book, and I agree completely with your views on it. I'm a fan of Bradley's earlier books, but this one was very uneven. The problem seems to be that the approach he used in the previous works (where he described relatively small unit actions in detail) didn't translate well to what was a major multi-division operation. I found that the best part of this book was the good coverage of the Japanese forces and experiences of individual Japanese soldiers. Nick-D (talk) 22:27, 14 June 2019 (UTC)[reply]
