Disgusting[edit]

Suicide????? Death????? Kill????? Shoot????? Hang????? Why so fucking violent on the English Wikipedia???? I think this culture of reference to violence, abuse, subjugation, humiliation, and allround general crap, should really stop. (Are there any adults in the house?! Hello???) Ihardlythinkso (talk) 13:20, 2 May 2013 (UTC) p.s. Stupid abusive essays which perpetuate culture of violence, disrespect and abuse, deserve no respect.[reply]

  • I've never seen the phrase "suicide by admin" used in the way this essay proposes anyway. I've seen it used to mean "deliberate attempt by burnt-out user to get himself indefinitely blocked, by startling personal attacks and intemperate language". Which would also be logical, as the usual meaning of "suicide" is a deliberate act of self-destruction. (And that's also what the supposedly alluded-to phrase Suicide by cop means.) It seems quite a stretch to use it to mean something like "obliviously hurtling towards a cliff-face without knowing it's there". So I think this essay is simply mistaken. It describes something that happens on Wikipedia, but it ain't suicide by admin. Bishonen | talk 13:36, 2 May 2013 (UTC).[reply]
