Some revisions[edit]

See these edits for some tweaks to the text that don't, I think, do much to change the substance of the essay, but do provide some nudging about how not to misuse this essay or make unhelpful comments with one's vote. Feel free to revert/tweak/come up with better fake voter names ;) Opabinia regalis (talk) 05:54, 15 June 2016 (UTC) Forgot to ping IJBall, who probably has this watchlisted anyway... @OR: I've never viewed this one as a "personal" essay, and I've never had any problems with any of the changes that other editors have made to it (at least, so far!). I really only created it because I was seeing too many people erroneously citing NOTYET/NOTNOW in RfA oppose "!votes", and so wrote this so that there would be something for RfA voters who were saying "Not yet", but who really meant "Not quite yet...", to point to. That's all I really want out of this – if it ends up proving useful beyond that, then the more the better! --IJBall (contribstalk) 06:19, 15 June 2016 (UTC)[reply]
