I came to this review because it was listed at WP:CENT. I posted some comments in the first two sections but now I see that there are 16 separate sections for feedback! I'm inclined to give up at this point as it's getting to be too much like hard work and the likely result will be too long. My point here is that the consultation process, like its subject, is over-complex and so contrary to WP:CREEP and common-sense principles such as KISS. Wikipedia is supposed to be the encyclopedia that anyone can edit but only fanatics will have the time and patience for this. Andrew🐉(talk) 13:49, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Truth is ever to be found in simplicity, and not in the multiplicity and confusion of things

@Andrew Davidson the intention is that users answer the first three questions. Those are the big picture questions that need discussion. The more specific topics are the more optional (well everything's optional but...) areas. Best, Barkeep49 (talk) 14:24, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
@Andrew Davidson: IThanks for bringing this up; I've posted a note to this effect. There are opportunities for section-by-section feedback precisely because the current procedure is complicated, and people might come with preexisting thoughts about how individual portions of it ought to be changed. But hopefully, for most people, the four open-ended questions will be sufficient to structure your participation. Best, KevinL (aka L235 ¡ t ¡ c) 21:15, 26 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
