SkyTrain (Vancouver)[edit]

Almost ready for FA status. What else can I do to get it up to snuff? -- Selmo (talk) 02:55, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

  • Consider expanding the "Fares" section into an "Economics" section. How much did it cost to build (in 1985/86), who paid, how much to run it? According to their 2005 audit it cost $73 million to run in 2005 (p21). Page 7 here shows they made $59 million in fares but spent $67 million in 2003.
  • Any books been written on this yet?
  • The environmental assessments usually have lots of great info on the new projects. Canada Line, Evergreen Line, SkyTrain Extension Review
  • Why is there four stops at the airport? (I've just always found that odd)
  • Consider losing the {{future public transportation}} template, leave it to the sub-articles. --maclean 05:59, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
To answer the above, the island the airport is on is also a residential area. There are separate stops for the terminal and other facilities for airlines on site.Canadianshoper 19:40, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. -- Selmo (talk) 20:24, 13 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
