Wikipedia:Tip of the day/April 1, 2006

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Don't believe everything you read

Since anyone can edit almost any Wikipedia article, it is possible for biased, out of date, or incorrect information to be posted to Wikipedia. However, because numerous people use Wikipedia every day and monitor contributions using the Recent Changes page, most errors are promptly spotted and corrected. Thus, Wikipedia's overall accuracy improves as it attracts more and more contributors. You are encouraged to help by correcting articles, validating content, and providing useful references.
