  • Beginning of problem, user viriditas moves article to cannabis dispensary while moving it back to drafts. Then user creates new marijuana dispensary page which user proceeds to link to tangentially related material. Creation of this new page marijuana dispensary which is currently redirecting prevents article from being rightly named original name.

Decision of the Mediation Committee[edit]

  • Reject. Rejected under Mediation Committee policy which says that "the Committee has the discretion to refuse or refer back to other dispute resolution venues (e.g. dispute resolution noticeboard, third opinion, request for comment, or additional talk page discussion) a dispute which would benefit from additional work at lower levels of the dispute resolution process." In this particular case, it would appear that using the procedures set out at requested move should be used to attempt to move the articles to the desired names.
