Manuchansu controversially renamed the article "Àngel Guimerà" to "Ángel Guimerá" without prior discussion. He cannot feign ignorance of the potential controversy because A) he has been involved in similar disputes on other Wikipedias, and B) he has continued to rename the article after other users objected here and on other Wikipedias.
Wikipedia:Article titles clearly states: "Any potentially controversial proposal to change a title should be advertised at Wikipedia:Requested moves, and consensus reached before any change is made" (emphasis mine).
Although I am sceptical of the move, I remain willing to discuss it in good faith with Manuchansu and any other interested users, but it is crucial that the rules are enforced and that no controversial moves are carried out until the necessary consensus has been reached. The same applies to the body of the article, and I suggest going back to the version of 14 June (the last one before either Manuchansu or I touched this article) as a starting point for the discussion.
If you are a named party, please sign below and indicate whether you agree or refuse to participate in mediation. Remember that all editors are obliged to resolve disputes about content through discussion, mediation, or other similar means. If you do not wish to participate in mediation, you must arrange another form of dispute resolution. Comments and questions should be made underneath the numbered list below, to avoid confusion.
This section should only be edited by a mediator. The Mediation Committee's representative will indicate in due course whether the request is accepted (meaning a mediator will be assigned) or rejected (meaning you will have to try a different type of dispute resolution). If the mediator asks you a question in this section, you may edit here.
Reject: Multiple reasons. First, I'm going to reject this under prerequisites for mediation #1 and #8. Secondary reasons for rejection are #3 and #9. For the Mediation Committee, TransporterMan (TALK) 16:32, 31 July 2017 (UTC) (Chairperson)[reply]
