Wikipedia:Requests for feedback/2010 November 27

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Hi, I created a wikipedia page for John Kenworthy (aviation engineer & designer), on the 25th November which is live, but a template inserted at the top includes the phrase "this page is a new unreviewed article" & says the template should be removed after clean up. Can someone please let me know the turn around time for this operation. Thanks. Gavin 12:24, 27 November 2010 (UTC)

Please review my article about the author Patricia T. O'Conner. If it looks OK, please remove the "new unreviewed article" template. Thanks.

I removed a misplaced template:userspace draft since the article was already in mainspace and it was suitable for Wikipedia. Linguistyx (talk) 18:53, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you. LibrarianontheLoose (talk) 14:58, 10 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

also: i'd like the unreviewed article template to go away . . i think i know how to myself, but just want to be sure . . thanks

I looked at the article, and added an infobox. It does need more sections on more than a summary of the book (which is longer than perhaps good, though there may be other things within the summary), such as how it was recieved and what others in the field have said about it, and its significance. As I have no knowledge in the field, I left removing the 'unreviewed article template' to someone who can be sure the content is good. The article is a very nice start, though! how can i make the redirect automatic?

Mlhill (talk) 18:28, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

User:The Blade of the Northern Lights has done this for you. See Help:Redirect if you need to do it for another article in the future. WhatamIdoing (talk) 00:14, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please review this article about The Stone and Holt Weeks Foundation, a foundation started by Jan and Linton Weeks after their two children (Stone and Holt) were killed in a car accident. The foundation hosts events and fundraisers to raise money and awareness for other foundations that Stone and Holt were involved in. Thanks!

Consider adding an infobox to the top of the article, perhaps, but I do think overall the article is nicely written and sourced. Well done! Chevymontecarlo 14:27, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've just created a new article on Irish poet Michael Devitt. Any suggestions for improvement or change would be much appreciate. --Nuujinn (talk) 20:57, 27 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

An infobox would be a nice addition to the article, perhaps. Chevymontecarlo 14:20, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, I think eventually. I tried one in the draft but without more data and a pic it looked pretty sparse. I email RTE to ask if they have a public pic, hopefully I can come up with something. Thanks for the feedback! --Nuujinn (talk) 15:19, 28 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
