Wikipedia:Requests for feedback/2010 December 13

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

New article, needs review from someone other than author.

Hi Asbourneman - The individual certainly appears to be notable enough, and the article looks like one that could be expanded in the future. The language is ok (although I might suggest splitting that large paragraph). One thing that I would strongly suggest you do is place inline citations. this page gives you a step by step guide. The reason it is important to use inline citations is that readers of the article can tie specific assertions to specifics webpages, news stories or passages - It confirms verifiability. Good work though Darigan (talk) 16:43, 13 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Can someone please review this article?

OK as a start, although more info would be nice. It is styled as a biography; understandably, the emphasis is on what makes him notable, but there are no details beyond his professional accomplishments. do you have information such as when and where he was born? If you have such information, consider adding an WP:INFOBOX.
Embedded links are discouraged in the main text, but permitted in an External links section, so I removed the link to Doggicam Systems, which also appears in the external links.
Please consider adding some categories--SPhilbrickT 19:11, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please give me feedback on this wikipedia page.

This is a new page to describe a scientific instrument that is common in the world of plant physiology. These instruments are used in a number of research institutes worldwide, and contribute to research and crop-management.

Query whether you have established "notability" within the Wikipedia meaning of the term. I think you need to make it crystal clear up front that Mr Joseph meets the Notability (musicians) criteria; there are some very specific guidelines and I didn't immediately see which he fit under. I was looking at points 4, 8, and 9 as possibilities. I think that meeting one of these criteria would have to be documented more clearly. A minor point: after mentioning the subject's full name, in general he should be referred to only by his last name in the balance of the article. Tkotc (talk) 03:31, 14 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

This is an article designed to provide information about publicly traded Canadian pharmaceutical company IntelliPharmaCeutics. The company is notable due to the fact that is a quickly growin player in the North American pharmaceuticals market. Sorces come from Ryan Rain's personal Myspace page. All dates, Shows, Locations, and persons in matches are all listed. Rain has also done several interviews, but have since been deleted from the websites they were originally posted.
