Youngstown, Ohio[edit]

This article was just clasified as being of GA status. I am looking for comments which will help in the development of this article to Featured status. Some remarks I noticed include several sections which need work, including Government (copyedit), Attractions (citations), Refurbishing a rugged little city (citations), and Transportation (further development). Further comments are appreciated and wanted. Thanks for the support! --Daysleeper47 20:10, 13 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]

:I generally agree with your overview of areas that need work. While I cleaned up the "Government" section, it might benefit from a review by someone better acquainted with the subject. As far as citations are concerned, it would be nice to have one to support the narrative's claim that suburbanization and the collapse of the steel industry coalesced to destroy the downtown, even though that seems logical. (I think the passage in question can be found in the "Former attractions" section.) The statement suggesting that not a single new car dealership currently operates within the city limits might be another candidate for a citation--even though, once again, it rings true. Meanwhile, I think it's important to generate material for the empty links in the main article. A minor point: Perhaps we should consider placing the headings in the "Famous Youngstowners" section in alphabetical order. That way, the order of the disciplines won't be seen as a reflection of personal priorities. Thanks! ~ haeksang 3:07, 15 February 2007 (UTC)
