Care Bears[edit]

Third peer review: This is my favourite cartoon of all time, and I would really be glad to see this article on the Main Page before the year 2006 ends. (This year marks the 25th anniversary of the greeting card characters.)

Ironically, the day I am putting it up for PR also marks the 20th anniversary of the release of Care Bears Movie II: A New Generation, whose FA candidacy got hugely rejected about a week ago.

This was a former AID candidate some time ago, but it failed to catch on and only BlueShirts voted for it.

So far, this page is a little messy, but references have been added. There are a few things to be done, such as add a picture of a Care Bear Cousin or two, and put in sections on collectors and fan clubs.

Also, keep in mind that vandals mess it up from time to time.

Avriette suggested in the FAC comments for CBMII that I get back to work on the page instead. What else can I do so that it can attain higher quality?

Please send in suggestions. (PS: Fair use rationales have been added to the screenshots and logo to meet FA standards.)

And, Cheer Bear, kiss me--and kiss me good--when this finally succeeds as a featured article! When it does so, the Kingdom of Caring--and of God--will rejoice! --Slgrandson 20:30, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

  • Per WP:CONTEXT, years without full dates should not be linked generally. The article is lacking in content; there are only three sections with prose (two of which combined don't even make 7 sentences combined). Thanks, AndyZ 21:25, 21 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I skimmed through the article and I'd say expand the development/history of the care bears by a lot. And I think the main problem with this article as of now is that more than half of it is basically composed of "lists", lists of care bears, places, and stuff like that. Featured articles shouldn't be a repository of lists. If possible, merge them into paragraphs that only mentoin the more popular or important care bears. BlueShirts 21:52, 23 March 2006 (UTC)[reply]
