A few thoughts:

Last sentence, first paragraph of the lead section seems awkward. Could this be broken into two sentences?
There are several tags in the article that need to be addressed. The synopsis in particular seems far too detailed. The "Direction" section is completely lacking in citations.
Numerous dashes need to be replaced with em-dashes.
How well was the film received overseas?
