Wikipedia:Micromanagement

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

While not technically prohibited, micromanaging the precise text, weight and balance of an article where an editor has a conflict of interest is generally seen as reprehensible. A common example is when an editor wants to reword content that is already neutral and well-sourced. Being correct about the best possible wording or weight does not always mean the behavior is acceptable if the issue is unimportant. Editors should use caution to avoid citing WP:COIMICRO when the language or weight problem is sufficiently problematic
