• Still some stubby paragraphs, which should be merged, and severe writing problems. I suggest contacting individual WP:LoCE members. Michaelas10^{Respect my authoritah} 20:46, 10 April 2007 (UTC)

• Oppose—1a. Some examples:
• "The winner is the first to remove all of her own pieces from the board." Males don't play? Sexist language should always be removed, although this is usually an issue with "he" (first time I've seen sexist language with "her" or "she"). In doing so, try avoiding the singular "they".
  • There are a lot of sentences in the article that simply can't be written efficiently without using personal pronouns. "They" here would be vague and informal. Try "he" and the article will get changed around to "they" and "he/she" and so forth. Try "she" and the same thing happens. Even try with a mix of "he" and "she" and they'll be flipped back and forth and changed to "they" over and over and over again. There does not appear to be any solution which satisfies enough people enough that it can be left alone. I am no longer interested in finding a solution to this problem and until there's a remarkable change in the discussion of and edits to this article I see no value in continuing to discuss the matter. • Other issues have been mentioned by editors; please take a time to give the article another copy-edit. It's getting there.
