Pokemon: Gothic Black
About me... Well, I have been working on other hacks. I'm currently doing sprites (among other things) for Pokemon ToxicPurple, Pokemon Trozach, and Pokemon AquaSteel. Lately, I've been bored and started brainstorming...and I came up with this idea for a hack.
Plot... What a twist! Life isn't easy for you, a gothic boy/girl. You constantly need hair dye, your clothes keep ripping on the rocks of the Mountainous region of Sizein, and your tired of your parents always on your case because you don't like the newest band shirts being sold at the nearest gothic shop, Aqua Black. But then again, when the whole world is as gothic as you, that's a plus.
....Until Team Happiness comes.
You must set out and save the world as a group of happy-go-lucky trainers try to spread such maniacal things as joy, happiness...and music about loving everyone.
You must set out and defeat the 8 leaders of this horrid organization to even think of taking on the head honcho...but it doesn't stop there.
A bunch of new Grunts, lining up to get their starter. (Your partner/Rival is up at the top.)
And the exciting starter is...
... darn.

(And yes, that is a Nurse Joy giving the all-your-Pokémon-fainted speech. Right now, you cannot be taken to the Saffron Pokémon Center at all when all your Pokémon faint, but you can go back to the Rocket Base. When I start putting in more Rocket Operatives, the same will be true for all towns.)

Yep, we've got a video! Here's a video of the first few minutes of gameplay. Including the "how to use a GBA" tutorial, because I found it amusing. The video unfortunately doesn't have sound, because my recorder doesn't do sound, for some utterly insane reason. The Oak, NidoranF, Hero(ine), and Rival sprites in the intro haven't been changed yet, nor have the Hero(ine) backsprites, and the Rival's OW isn't 100 percent finished yet, which is why when he's walking right/left he'll sometimes randomly change into an orange haired Gary. Other than that, though, this is pretty much the whole intro vid.
Features You think I know how to script?!
* Custom sprites. New characters, new scenery, new trainers, new attacks...and of course... * FAKEMON.
I haven't really started scripting (I'm having trouble...if I can get someone who can speak baby programming in XSE, that would be nice).

Yes. I am the only person working on it. I honestly CAN do it, with a little help to get started. Just some help in some script stuff. I may also need some help with sprites...as this may use UTTERLY custom sprites.
And... So, just put the other junk here? Any support and praise would be appreciated. Constructive criticism IS excepted, so feel free to point out flaws.
