Dear Wrsutton, I'm afraid I reverted your edits to Ibn Ishaq. They "sexed up" the narrative while distorting in several subtle ways. For one thing, it wasn't just the Satanic verses narrative that disconcerted Muslim historians -- there were other episodes, such as that of the Banu Qurayza, that also evoked controversy.

I hope I haven't discouraged you. WP is a rough tough environment, but it can also be exciting to work with other bright people to make something that is better than anything you could do on your own.
