Copyediting of Lockdown

I didn't mean to take out any out-of-universe information from the article. I'm trying to tighten up the prose, as much of it could be stated in fewer words. There are a few statements I have trimmed, as they are repeated in nearby lines. Please let me know of any specifics that you disagree with. GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:43, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

If it is the wrestlers' real names, I only removed the ones that were already given in the lead section. There is no need to give the real names twice. GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:44, 18 August 2008 (UTC)
I agree with you about not removing information about an entire feud. I have been vocal about my opposition to the phrasing in WP:PW's style guide about three or four main feuds (or whatever it says). The more storylines a reader knows about, the more valuable the article is to them. In the Good Articles I have written, I explain as many feuds as possible (sometimes as many as ten). GaryColemanFan (talk) 20:49, 18 August 2008 (UTC)

Angry Hard Justice IP

Hello, it's me. I'm not really bold, so I'm going to ask you. Would you mind if I have a go at the Hard Justice 2008 article? You're really putting tons of effort on it, but I really feel you're exagerating when it comes to explaining everything. May I? You can always revert it if it's the case.

Regards, 189.19.170.20 (talk) 05:00, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Then I guess I shouldn't bother, since it's your project. But please, try to take what I have said into account. You've got the dedication and the love for the subject, not to mention the experience on wikis, so I'm stepping out of this one. Good luck and thanks for putting that much effort on the TNA articles. Me and other fans thank you. Regards, 189.19.170.20 (talk) 06:05, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Re:Real Names

Hmmm, it depends, like for what article do you want it for?--SRX 21:22, 19 August 2008 (UTC)

Here is the thing about making roster lists to FL, it is not possible because the list is just a list of links with no relevant information, per WP:LISTCRUFT and it doesn't meet FL Criteria, not to make you seem that your work went nowhere but it would get shot down at FLC easily, sorry.--SRX 21:42, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
True it will look better, I say make it a table, in that way you can list what they do and are for the promotion.--SRX 22:46, 19 August 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, but that is the only way in which it can got to FLC. Trust me I am an experienced FLC reviewer.--SRX 01:04, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Originally I proposed this for the WWE roster page but got shot down by those "wrestling fans."
Stage name Birth name Role Notes
Kurt Angle
Male wrestler TNA World Heavyweight Champion

--SRX 01:14, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

It looks "okay." Nowadays, in the lead the sentence "The following list is blah blah blah," the lead now needs to explain a little bit about the company and say how many wrestlers are signed onto the roster. I could help you but I am not that familiar with TNA as you are, so I don't think I would be of much help.SRX 01:24, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Before nominating it for FL, tell me about it so I can give it a pre FL review :) Hopefully everything pans out for you.SRX 01:34, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
That my friend is an article not a list.SRX 02:18, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Thats the point, lists are suppose to have prose and the main list, just like the 2005 NFL Draft.SRX 02:45, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome. :P --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:02, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

Hi there. I've created this in my sandbox. I thought it might be something to suggest placing at the top of PW article talk pages. Let me know what you think.  Hazardous Matt  20:26, 20 August 2008 (UTC)

TNA roster

Nice job so far. I've made one or two changes though (see diff). First of, I've made a minor change with the references where the colspan is to - all I've done is moved the </center> part to after the reference so the ref doesn't begin on another line. Also, I've removed all URL's from the publisher field - I have never seen URL's in the publisher field, and it would more or likely get brought up in the FL. D.M.N. (talk) 19:09, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

Now that it's been semi-protected till middle of September, I'll give it a bit of TLC tomorrow. Also, to do with the references in the roster article, I don't even recall seeing it like that in other articles. IGN should be fine as a source. And yes, IP's will freak out when they see it. Just a word of advise: Ask WP:PW what they think of it first before implementing it. D.M.N. (talk) 21:19, 22 August 2008 (UTC)

I will try to take a look at the article as soon as possible. I'll be out of town for a few days, though, and I might be a little busy when I get back. I should be able to look at a few paragraphs at a time, though. GaryColemanFan (talk) 06:03, 25 August 2008 (UTC)

RE:

Yeah, hey, what's up. I've fallen behind on the articles I've been watching. I've been trying to revert edits on Unforgiven and Summeslam, I try to find new info for Amy Jo Johnson (long time thing for that girl... plus she let me interview her) and I've fallen way behind on Echo. Plus, after reading Nation of Domination I'm trying to rebuild it in my Sandbox.  Hazardous Matt  16:44, 27 August 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I haven't checked out a lot of the TNA articles. I only picked a few for my watchlist because I only regularly check WP at work. I normally wouldn't have undertaken rebuilding an entire article but NOD was in horrible shape. Once that's done I'll see if I can find time to help with some of the TNA articles. I'm a fan of the promotion and I'm sure another hand wouldn't hurt.  Hazardous Matt  00:21, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

It's out of my hands now, I've requested a second opinion and another user can pass or fail it. You have to be patient though. I've had GAN's last for 2 months. -- iMatthew T.C. 10:40, 28 August 2008 (UTC)

We can't do that for the personal taste of readers. We have to go by the issue. The issue is suppose to be released tomorrow, so news of august should be included not septemeber. Lets take the Washington Post being released tomorrow, do you want to read about the news that happened the past 2 weeks, or "what will" happen in 2 weeks?--SRX 17:38, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, but it will be mentioned in next week's issue. This has been policy since the newsletter's inception.SRX 18:12, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
I don't think you understand the process of the newsletter...The calender written in the newsletter should only cover events and dates that take place from the date of issue of the last newsletter to this newsletter (excluding delays). Example, the last issue was on the 11th, but it was released like 2 days later, but it was still the issue for the 11th of August. So the current issue (August 31st) should cover from the 11th to the 31st, excluding delays of delivery. I don't want it to be like I don't respect your proposal, but this is the process as well as other newsletters.SRX 18:41, 30 August 2008 (UTC)
In all reality man, no one gives a shit about the newsletter, we just have it because we just do, but no one pays attention to it, its more of a place to get news, which is why people go to the page to read it as well.SRX 19:10, 30 August 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for taking a look. Tony2Times (talk) 20:15, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

That's cool, any input is appreciated. Mainly I need help with wiki links, particularly with wrestling moves, and maybe trimming the length of match descriptions, I'm not really sure how long to make them. Thanks for putting the other talent table in, I'm not so clever with that kind of thing. Tony2Times (talk) 21:42, 1 September 2008 (UTC)

Re:Lockdown (2008)

In all honesty, I don't think it has a chance, due to the way it's written. You should have waited until the FAC of SummerSlam finished so you could see the final format. You can also see the current FAC, The Great American Bash (2005). Compare Lockdown to those two, major differences right? I recommend opening another peer-review for it in that way those issues can be resolved.--SRX 13:14, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

It doesn't matter that it was reviewed by other ppl outside of WP:PW, it needs to be reviewed by FAC Reviewers, which is what I did in order for it to pass FAC. I didn't think it would happen, but SS 03 and GAB'05 both got shredded on their FAC's, and Lockdown will be no different. It will be better if you open up another peer review, rewrite it, and then we'll see where it goes.--SRX 17:30, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Okay, but keep in mind, that just because administrators say something, it doesn't mean it is all well, admins are just like regular users, the ppl who you want to worry about is the FAC reviewers.--SRX 18:05, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
That's part of it, there is still some rewording needed to be done to cut back on the length of the article, that is a major thing that will appear on the FAC, the length, in order to do this you need to cut back on some of the explanations and just summarize it.--SRX 18:16, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Sacrifice is also too long, both are around 50,000 kb, SummerSlam and GAB are around 39,000 kb, needs to be cut back a lot more.SRX 18:44, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
I read it today when you asked me about it.SRX 01:20, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Yeah, but it still needs to be cut down more.SRX 01:30, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey back! ;)

Yea, I've been good. Got a cold at the moment though, which is making it impossible to properly concentrate on anything. School's ok; lots of lectures on hiow this is the most important year of my life and how I should be studying 4 hours a night and 7 hours on saturday and sunday. YAY!!! And you? How its going? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 15:24, 7 September 2008 (UTC)

Yea. It is weird. ;) Man, that does suck. Hopefully the school will accept you though. Did you actually manage to get rid of any stress? My stress levels are going through the roof. And they're getting worse, 'cause I'm applying to study medicine in colleges in Britain as well as Ireland, so on Wednesday I have to the UKCAT, and now I'm panicing so bad. I tried a practice test, and it was so fucking hard!! Now, I'm scared I'm going to screw up, and I won't pass the test, and I'm just panicing so bad. And Ireland's bringing in one as well, and to make matters worse, it's being held on Valentine's Day!!! I mean, how much does that suck? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:43, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
I hope I do... Actually, that's why I'm wikipedia. I'm trying to distract myself, or else I'll just go psycho this is how normal people become axe-muderersNiciVampireHeart♥ 17:26, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
LOL. Thats an interesting thought. Never really thought about women being rapists before.... Hmmm. Ok, stopping thinking about that now Handy having wikipedia isn't it? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:59, 7 September 2008 (UTC)
Yes I had noticed actually! Congrats on Lockdown!! Finally dude. That took forever for it to be promoted. Nice job. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:37, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Don't envy you that task. ;) Good luck! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:42, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
I hope it does. You put so much bloody effort into it, you deserve an FA. FA standards are incredibley high though, that's the problem. You can do it though. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:48, 8 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, I hope the luck of the Irish rubs off on ya!! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:54, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Congratulations on having the latest Good Article! I passed it because I believe it meets the standards. I don't know what to say to you about nominating it for Featured Article, because the people there are extremely picky about the tiniest details. Every single reference gets criticized except if its a major nationally-know publication like the New York Times or a well-known magazine from the sport. Text has to be worded flawlessly in a way that anyone can understand. I'm done attempting Featured Articles. Royalbroil 04:22, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Yes. Congratulations on your first GA! It is about time we get some equal opportunity TNA coverage around here. :) Nikki311 16:03, 8 September 2008 (UTC)

Before anything, in the lead, you do not need to mention the real names, mention them in the background because it clutters the lede.--SRX 01:35, 9 September 2008 (UTC)
Yeah still wikilink them but just their ring names no need to add the real names in the lead, only in the background.SRX 01:40, 9 September 2008 (UTC)

New Idea - Pre-Warning Reminders

Hey. I'd like your opinion on this. I saw a message you had put on someone's talk page and thought that we should not all assume vandalism when someone writes an in-u wrestling article. I was going to propose that we use these reminders, at which point we would be justified in assuming vandalism on further edits. What do you think?  Hazardous Matt  16:47, 10 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the input. The thread is up here.  Hazardous Matt  21:21, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Thank you

...for your message. It's hard because there isn't much I can do, so I hope that what I can do, will still help a few remember that day and what it really meant. Yes, you are right that that beautiful expression isn't used as much as it used to. It really does mean a lot to me, and thank you again for your comment. (I will restore your comment on the 12th, as I going to keep my talk page clean for today). « Gonzo fan2007 (talkcontribs) @ 02:06, 11 September 2008 (UTC)

Sorry mate, just poking around and thought I'd add it in. Didn't know to wait till the show was over. If I'm around I'll add it back in at the end of the show. Cheers, DoomsDay349 01:21, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Shame about the IPs. I'd be more than happy to help you out at Bound For Glory if you'd like. TNA PPVs are PPVs too ;) DoomsDay349 01:27, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Sure thing, I'm all for making it an FA and if you'd like to work on it yourself, by all means. Just know that I'm available on it for anything you might need. More than happy to help out with whatever I can. As for Slammiversary, the Background section is all sounding pretty good; just one small type I noticed is "Karen acknowledge his request" should be acknowledged. Also, when you discuss the Beautiful People there's some mislinking on their names; There's also a few more mislinks in the article, just double check all the links to be sure. Looking good so far. DoomsDay349 01:51, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

I don't know if this is where I'm supposed to leave a message (I couldn't find an email or message section) but this is in regards to the edit of Shelly Martinez. You claimed that you couldn't accept my edit of her leaving TNA because wrestlezone/pwinsider are not considered acceptable sources, yet Shelly Martinez' own website is using the pwinsider story in regards to her leaving and you have that up here.

Apparently certain criticisms of Wikipedia are valid. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 121.136.69.215 (talk) 09:55, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Dick Slater?

Hey mate; just wondered if I could ask a favor of you. I've been working on the Dick Slater article the last few days, trying to add in some references, and I'm trying to figure out his birthdate...I have one source that puts him in 1951 (making him 57) and another that says 1942 (making him 66). I don't know whether you know anything about him (he was an old school wrestler with only minor WCW popularity in the modern era) but if you know when he was born it would be really helpful. I'll probably go with what the article says (1951) right now, but if you know anything, let me know and I'll fix it. Thanks! DoomsDay349 20:19, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, IMBD was the source I had for 1942...the only thing that makes me lean toward '51 is that that was preexisting in the article. I'm gonna dig about for more birthdates, see what I can find. (PS: I just found an article that put him at 53 in 2004, which would mean 57 now, so I think I'll go with '51). DoomsDay349 21:09, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I sorta thought that was the only comments from you, but sorta thought, there needs to be more or something. But, like I said, when the available time is open, add your concerns and I'll fix them. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:22, 15 September 2008 (UTC)

Hmm, I'm guessing you have a timeline for the PPV's. Well, that's good organizing. Trying to bring in a little humor towards ya. Me, trying to work hard on getting HBK's article for FA and trying to work on non-wrestling articles. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:57, 15 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, if I knew anything that's going on TNA, I would totally help you out, but, I don't watch it, so I'm not of good help. But, if you do have time, please, do leave some comments in the PR. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:54, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Damn, it feels like I'm obligating you to do the PR. Shame on me. To be even, I'll comment on your two PR's and call it even? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:25, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
TBH, I'm really really bored. :P I know, its just, I don't know, I'm very desperate for getting HBK's article for FA. Desperate. In return, for the PR, I'll be helping out a friend, with his PPV's. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:31, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, if your sure about no comments, I'll take your word for it. Actually, the Bash did have a PR. :) In all honesty, how does JD'05 look to you? Is it written well? Does it have an FA chance? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:44, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Aw, you got me there. ;) That's funny, though, I was sorta gonna nominate HBK's article to FA, but, I was told to have a PR first and then see if its qualified or not. And look, there's a PR. Some humor, like I said, I'm bored. I mean, if you can read over JD'05 and point out anything that needs a fixin', I would most appreciate it. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:57, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Aww, well I appreciate the comments. You know, your probably the first dude who hasn't confused me for a guy. I'm impressed. Anyways, you really think Unforgiven is written well? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:13, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
OMG, I do have brown hair. Scary. But, I'm not 5'7, I'm 5'11, you got that wrong. Hmm, maybe I should break the SmackDown pattern and go for the Raw article. I've read Lockdown and its written well and it shows in the article. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:39, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
Yup yup, you are psychic. :) Anyways, how's the progress going for Lockdown and Hard Justice? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:05, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Alright, I'll leave some feedback later. Oh, I totally know what you mean. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:34, 17 September 2008 (UTC)
I got Hard Justice. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 17:42, 19 September 2008 (UTC)

You're welcome, sorry I didn't get the other article, have been busy with a non-wrestling article. Don't do HBK, I gave up hope. :( But, I would appreciate the comments for JD and I would appreciate it if you can give feedback on Bad Blood '04. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:45, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

IDK, cause Peripitus said that nowhere in the article was there a feud explained, saying that its written from an in-universe point-of-view and I don't think I have the time to read/add info. about "how" the feuds became "feuds". So, that's where my hope was gone. :( Yup, he was good in Thank You for Smoking and The Dark Knight. Also, I've responded to your comments left at JD's feedback. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:14, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Wait, what? TDK was awesome, IDK what you talking about. Besides, there's more villains than just the Joker. Yeah, it would be good to expand articles besides just wrestling. I needed a break from wrestling, for reals, and found actor/song articles to work on, so yeah, I'd recommend it. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:15, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, I still stand that the movie was great. Heath Ledger did one hell of a job as the Joker. :) I dunno about the Riddler, those are just rumors and why get excited over rumors? Also, I never did bother with the Mummy, only film I wanted to see was TDK. :) You know, you don't necessarily have to make all TNA articles your priority..... right? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:32, 24 September 2008 (UTC)
Hmm, I see your dealing with the "anger" phase, I've been through it. Don't let people to talk you down. Well, I'd hate to see you give all your energy on all TNA articles, with me going on your page one day and the words, "This user has retired". Believe me, I've seen that happen; people working hard on articles and then realizing that they need a break. Whenever the next TNA PPV occurs, maybe I can help you out with that. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:46, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

OMG, I love your enthusiasm. ;) Well, not every detail of the match is needed, just the "big" points in the match. Believe me, when I was writing Unforgiven '05, I was criticized with the length the matches were written, see here. So, you and me sorta have some stuff in common. Well, its good to hear that you won't retire, if the articles start taking a hassle in your PL. Dude, I'm in college, so I can sorta get the handle with some stuff, but lucky that I carry my phone to edit. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:13, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Sue me for trying to make these PPV's look cool. :P Anyways, hope you can fix your PL situation. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 14:49, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Haha, some girls are like that, but not me. :) I'm proud to be single, since I'm busy and don't really have time for a boyfriend. Anyways, how's the progress with your PPV's? --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 21:55, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
I know, everyone wants to know me. :) I'm not bitchy, I'm a show-off. :P Anyways, when your done with the articles, hit me up and I'll leave some comments. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:31, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
I know, right? My stuff is going alright, I'm just falling back on JD and Bad Blood '04. I'm not so sure about Unforgiven '05, I'm struggling there. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 22:52, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Well, I added JD first to the waiting list and will nominate it on Sunday. I'll see how the FAC goes, if it does well, I'll add Unforgiven to the list. I would appreciate comments for BB, since I did open up a PR. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:15, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
Thanks for the support, I sorta want to get that hope. :) I don't want to be the first person from PW to go with the new changes to the PPV's and have it fail!!!! That's my fear. If you take his suggestions, believe me, you'll have your FA. :) No pressure on BB, when you got the time, I'll be waiting. --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 23:32, 25 September 2008 (UTC)

RE: BFG

I'd still say it's against WP:NFCC, but getting a second opinion wouldn't hurt. --LAX 00:52, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

How, exactly, would it help? It's right on the poster in the infobox. There is no need for another image of one that's already in the article! --LAX 01:00, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Thanks

Thanks for the congrats! iMatthew (talk) 18:45, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Re:Question

Sorry to break it to you, but as a professional FL Reviewer, TNA BFG would fail it's nomination simply because it is too short, there is not enough content listed and would fail the FL Criteria. Also, the logo used in the article is not acceptable due to it not being a generic logo like the one used in respective PPV lists, like WWE No Mercy.--SRX 20:37, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Hopefully, because it will be hard since it fails Criteria 4.--SRX 21:21, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
It does not matter how much prose is in there, what matters is the "LIST!" (just emphasizing) 4 things is not a list, no matter how much info you write about the list.--SRX 22:39, 16 September 2008 (UTC)
It's not, I told iMatthew the same thing about NYR.--SRX 23:09, 16 September 2008 (UTC)

Although you have not yet participated in a WikiCup, you are receiving this message because I believe it may be something that you might be interested in. Check out the page and sign up if you'd like. I look froward to your response! iMatthew (talk) 19:32, 17 September 2008 (UTC)

Hi, Will, I got your message about Lockdown. It's true, I've recently done work on two wrestling articles, both of which are now FAs. I worked on these articles because I was asked, not because I have any knowledge of particular interest in wrestling. After the second I pretty well promised myself that I wouldn't look at another wrestling article, especially as I got no acknowledgement or thanks from the editors of these promoted articles despite a very large commitment of time. But there's no reason to hold that against you. I've just returned from a short break (in the Arctic Ocean!), and I feel refreshed, so give me a couple of days and I'll give your article a thorough review. After which I will definitely retire from wrestling for a while. Brianboulton (talk) 00:25, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Re: none

I've clarified the "school" link in the template, which should answer your question. And, I'm fine of course. ;) D.M.N. (talk) 11:59, 18 September 2008 (UTC)

Hey

Hey Wrestlinglover, I now we haven't talked in a while, but I just want to ask you something. Do you have a yahoo, because I'd like to talk, but in a more-direct way. If not, what about Hotmail? Save Us.Y2J

That looks good, but you are going to have to say the circa it was used.--SRX 20:24, 22 September 2008 (UTC)

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Sacrifice DVD 2008.jpg)

Thanks for uploading Image:Sacrifice DVD 2008.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:39, 23 September 2008 (UTC)

Hard Justice

Ice T is on a big TV show and is still one of the biggest names in hip hop. 411mania is a site Wikipedia has deemed non-notable, if you want to put a review then add a section for reception, 411's opinion is not important enough to warrant inclusion in the header. Even Roger Ebert's review doesn't get mentioned in movie headers- stop being a 411 fanboy. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 208.38.59.163 (talk) 22:34, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Your point about Ice-T not being on the header is arguable but within reason- which is why I moved Ice-T's part off the header, which is what you should have done with 411's opinion. But I guess your character on this MMORPG called Wikipedia is a 411mania fan boy. Have fun lulz. --208.38.59.163 (talk) 23:00, 24 September 2008 (UTC)

Just to let you know, I started the PR for Lockdown :)SRX 02:29, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
It will help me if you do it now, in that way work step by step.--SRX 20:34, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
I also replied.SRX 22:57, 25 September 2008 (UTC)
As did I.23:55, 25 September 2008 (UTC)SRX
Do you have a watchlist? If so, no need for notifications.SRX 00:09, 26 September 2008 (UTC)
Yeah great minds think alike. Please archive your talk page, it is too long. Also I am going to be honest with you, sorry to crush your bubble, but Lockdown in it's current form is not ready for FAC, but I will help you solve that.--SRX 02:17, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Don't let confidence get over what is correct. I had FA reviewers comment on SummerSlam in the PR and then they opposed it in the FAC, because they don't catch everything as it is not priority, they later supported it after a lengthy battle with the prose. For one, the explanations are bad, are there a lot of MOS issues, which I will help you solve.SRX 03:16, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Sorry

Hey Wrestlinglover, I'm sorry about what I did. I just change it around, I hope your not mad at me. Save Us.Y2J

Yeah I read the discussions. No problem. He undid it himself so that's fine – no harm done! Gary King (talk) 04:32, 26 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I know what I got to do now, talk to you later dude. Save Us.Y2J

You are doing a good job ;)

Hey, just wanted to let you know that I read over Lockdown 2008 - and it's definitely showing improvement. iMatthew (talk) 19:53, 28 September 2008 (UTC)

Yeah, I'm going to get back to Armageddon as soon as my RfA is over. iMatthew (talk) 19:58, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Go ahead and work on it if you want. ;) iMatthew (talk) 20:27, 28 September 2008 (UTC)
Eh. Check it out if you want. iMatthew (talk) 00:36, 29 September 2008 (UTC)
Looks okay, but remember what I said earlier, it's not listing enough content, thus not being eligible for FLC, but it looks good for GA.--SRX 01:24, 30 September 2008 (UTC)

Re:BG

We'll see, technically, TNA BG is not a list due to it's length, but if you would like to wait for like 2 years, you could nominate it for FL. I'm a FL reviewer, but the decisions are handled by the directors, ask them. User:Scorpion02 or User:Matthewedwards.--SRX 22:03, 2 October 2008 (UTC)

Sorry about the delay, I say nominate it for GA, but get it copyedited and maybe a peer review first.--SRX 22:50, 4 October 2008 (UTC)

Hey Wrestlinglover, this is IMatthew (talk · contribs), co-coordinator of the WikiCup; just informing you of the Featured List contest, starting this coming Friday. You may want to check it out; it will keep you busy for the time being before the WikiCup starts around January. Thanks for listening! iMatthew (talk) 21:58, 5 October 2008 (UTC)

Congrats on the GA! have this -->

NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:22, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Dude you're doing well!! LOL schools fine, got 2 tests tomorrow, but oh, well... Just got back from my maths grind, you know I think I might actually pass my leaving cert maths exam... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 21:03, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
With the two GAs! And many more to come I'm sure. ;) I hope so, I've been putting in a little effort to maths, it's my worst subject! ;( ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 21:30, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
You aim high dude! Ambitious! Don't envy your workload over the next few months! ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:01, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Yea, it's great! And there was a big improvement from Lockdown to Sacrifice as well. ;) You're confidence is growing, and I think you can see it in your writing. It's great. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:16, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
Bet you will. The more practice you get, the better you'll get. And thanks, I meant to nominate it in June. but I never got around to working on it... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:30, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
That'd be awesome, if you could. ;) Take your time though, as I proably won't be online again 'til Wednesday. Don't let me distract you from any of your projects. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:42, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
You mean Wikipedia:Version 1.0 Editorial Team/Professional wrestling articles by quality statistics, which gets copied and pasted in the day the newsletter is sent out, since it is the most up-to-date it can be? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:51, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

The page gets updated eveery few days by a bot, and then someone, (usually me) just copies and pastes it into the newsletter. It's a lot easier than doing it by hand... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 22:55, 6 October 2008 (UTC)

Yea, the future class has be added manually, because the bot doesn't recognise it as a parameter. Luckily, we never have too many future class articles, so its easy enough to update. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 23:04, 6 October 2008 (UTC)
What schooling? What you talking 'bout? You've totally confused me now... ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:06, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Ah, the Leaving Cert. It's a set of exams that I take in June, set over a period of two-and-a-half weeks. I'm doing eight subjects, and my six highest marks will taken and added up. Each results can be out of 100 marks, e.g. an A1 is 100 points. I needs 600 points, hence the incredibly ridiculous amount of studying I have to do over the next few months. It sucks! ;( ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 23:15, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
I don't have any points. It's very different to the US system. My points are calculated on the basis of exams, 1 set of them in June. My averages throughout the year mean nothing. If I have a bad exam, I'm fucked. I have to study until my exams begin at the start of June 2009. And then I have approximately 15 exams in two weeks, normally with 2 a day. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 23:23, 7 October 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! Yea, I worked it out. I think I can have a social life (though not a very active one) until probably Easter at the latest. Then, I'll turn into a total recluse. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:41, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
Thanks! It'll be much appreciated. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:04, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

<-- LOL. So you had a busy night huh? Nah, don't worry bout it. It won't be reviewed for ooh, I don't know, a month? There's no big rush. ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:15, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Yea, you're right. You do have some crazy friends! No, don't feel like you must. You don't owe me anything. If you don't have time, then you don't have time, and that's all there is to it. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 16:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Well, if you're sure. But seriously no hurry. It won't get reviewed for ages. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 17:42, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
An optimist huh? Gotta disagree. But we'll see! ;) ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:03, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Ha, so which is true? Or are you an intellectual realist? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:17, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
LOL. Strange. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:26, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Probably too much! ;) Hey, I can suggest that you archive some sections on your talk page? It's getting a little long. ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 18:34, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
Yes, but I don't know much about it really. Why'd you ask? ♥NiciVampireHeart♥ 19:20, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Its alright, I saw the comments you left at the PR. I'm gonna get them after SRX gives me his whole feedback for BB. :) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:39, 9 October 2008 (UTC)

Well, you're a good friend in telling me in advance. ;) --  ThinkBlue  (Hit BLUE) 19:48, 9 October 2008 (UTC)
