Great edit

Your copy editing on Joe Martin (orangutan) is/was just excellent. I've never requested a copy edit before and was ambivalent but am now a convert. Thank you for contributing in this way, it's truly appreciated. jengod (talk) 11:50, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

@Jengod: Thank you so much for your kind words! I still have plans to make further edits (and I usually save the lead for last); I'll leave a message on the talk page with more complicated suggestions. I'm super impressed with all of the work you've done on this article :] Wracking 💬 20:18, 11 May 2023 (UTC)

Hello, Wracking,

Please do not draftify articles or tag them for deletion immediately after they have been created, especially if editors are currently working on improving the article. Not all editors use Draft space, they create them directly into the main space and then work to improve them. I know that New Page Patrollers are advised to not tag articles until an hour has passed since the article has been created and this is a good rule of thumb to follow. It can also be more productive to contact the article creator on their User talk page rather than mess around with the article. Content creators are the most important people on Wikipedia and we don't want to discourage their articles by mishandling pages they are working on.

In general, do not be quick to draftify an article, use it primarily for pages created by brand new editors. Another good rule of thumb is not to draftify an article which has been created by an editor who has more editing experience than you do. They probably know what they are doing. Thank you. Liz Read! Thank you, Wracking!

I really appreciate what you have done with some of the pages on ice hockey! Your contributions are highly appreciated! Keep up the good work, please, and I’ll keep you up to date on any pages you should edit. Again, thank you so much. Eric Hockey (talk) 22:26, 21 May 2023 (UTC)

Thanks a lot, @Eric Hockey! Wracking 💬 23:29, 21 May 2023 (UTC)
No problem, @Wracking! I have a page on hockey that would be really nice if you could help with some research (it's hockey history, not the modern sport). If you could find some information to improve the Horace Gaul page, that would be so much appreciated Eric Hockey (talk) 16:00, 23 May 2023 (UTC)
@Eric Hockey, Besides copy editing, I generally don't work on hockey history right now. As for expanding Horace Gaul, I'd recommend looking for local newspapers of the towns he lived or played in and seeing if any hockey biographies have covered him. You can also use the links below, which auto-populate the search field with his name.

Of course, thank you @Wracking you have been so helpful. Thank you. Eric Hockey (talk) 22:14, 23 May 2023 (UTC)

111.125.208.243 (talk) 18:22, 24 May 2023 (UTC) Respected user, Neither I am censoring nor am I vandalising any of the articles. I am only correcting the incorrect and irrelevant facts written by someone in wikipedia pages. That article which was earlier there as only a personal opinion of that particular officer and not a view of Indian Police services as a whole.I personally know that not all of IPS officers share the same views as mentioned . Please stop defaming India and its democatic organisations unnecessarily irrespective of whatever views and political inclinations you haveyou have.I urge you to contibute in keeping wikipedia unpolarised and unbiased and a truuly free encyclopedia which provides only pure knowledge.Kindly correct that article at the earliest.

Replied at your talk page. Wracking 💬 18:41, 24 May 2023 (UTC)

@Apmh, Thanks for the barnstar! Did you mean to link to that particular essay? It seems to be about problematic behavior, which I hope I'm not exhibiting (but please let me know if you think I am). Wracking talk! 14:33, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
@Wracking: I've changed it, and hopefully it makes sense! (sorry I struggle at communicating) --Apmh 14:43, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
@Apmh, No worries at all! I figured it was a mistake Wracking talk! 15:09, 30 May 2023 (UTC)
