Warriors (novel series)[edit]

Have you read the Warriors series? They're realy great books! This is they're template: {{Warriors}}
You should read them, but they're so enthralling that I usually finish a book the same day I start it.--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 23:54, 9 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re:Wikipedian Guy[edit]

The lyrics were a bit hard the last time I read them, I'll check it out again now. I couldn't really put most of the words to the song's tune though.--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 00:07, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Well it's okay, now the end seems a little emo/goth. Otherwise it's pretty good,but I've never heard of a hyphy.--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 00:16, 10 August 2007 (UTC) P.S. but alex got unblocked per here [1][reply]

RC Patrol[edit]

Isn't it annoying that to do RC patrol half the time you get beaten to the article's vandalism, and you're working so fast that you almost revert productive edits? Also can you refresh IE on the RC page? My browser will crash each time I reload so I've got to use my history.--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 00:52, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure if this is vandalism could you help me out?--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 00:22, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks![edit]

Thanks for the smiley, Marlith! I was getting a bit tired from disambiguating links and it helped me lighted up! Thanks again! :) —May the Edit be with you, always. (T|C) 01:37, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

OK[edit]

I've chosen the article, now, it's pretty good already, so it actually won't need much work. The Article is Parliament House, Canberra. I'd be happy to help you, and I've done work on it in the past. I recently nominated it for GA, but there were a few issues. It was said, "Lead need be created(see WP:LEAD). Article lacks references" and the rest can be seen at Talk:Parliament House, Canberra. Thanks so much. Cheers! Dfrg.msc 07:57, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

New Signature[edit]

I have a new signature for you! Its an slight improvement on your old one. (My opinion) You might want to keep your old one. My sister says this new signature stinks.

[[User:Marlith|<span style="background: #FFBA00; color: #C41E3A;"> Marlith </span>]][[User_talk:Marlith|<span style="background: #003399; color: #FFFFFF;"> talk </span>]]

RuneWiki777 14:32, 10 August 2007 (UTC) Enjoy![reply]

So,what do you think about the new signature? RuneWiki777 17:47, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My edits[edit]

Do you think that I'm doing well with my editing? In the past two days I've got 25 more mainspace edits. I've been doing RC Patrol lately, and I don't think that Twinkle helps that much. Dosn't Wikipedia look so diffrent in Firefox?--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 23:36, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah there's a link to my edits on my userpage and my Russian text gives my contributions (the green one).--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 23:37, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. No I've never taken that test before. But I've taken the Wikipediaholic test. Stupid me they're the same...--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 23:45, 10 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

My new score is 36477. I decided that checking the 9 billion point check would be cheeting along with the rest of question 13 of wikipedia knowledge and opinion. With that it'd be 90036481. --Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 00:09, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikihistory[edit]

Alot of users have retired, and some of their reason's are unclear to me. I was wondering if you, by any chance, have found out, or know anything about them, like User:Essjay and a few others.--Kkrouni 20:22, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

User:Levine2112 left?--Kkrouni 22:13, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
I'm like Levine's total opposite...--Kkrouni22:15, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh the welcome template left by cascadia! Oh! I thought User:Cascadia was a guy...--Kkrouni 22:16, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh. So Levine said that she left, but she's still here. Got ya.--kkrouni 22:26, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. what language is zh-cmn-1?User:Kkrouni

Oh, so that's what it means! Um, well, I can kinda speek Spanish and French...--Kkrouni 22:35, 11 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bot[edit]

Do you think it was a good idea for me to request a semi-bot? I posted the request on the request for bots page, and a few others have EC's under 1,000 like me (My EC>975). Unsigned comments and Spelling errors are my pet peeves so that's why I requested it.--Kkrouni 00:18, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok then! Thanks for telling me. Also, was giving that one anon who left a message on my talk page a Wikismile approprite?--Kkrouni 00:23, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Hey they said that they didn't want to make it, so do you want to co-make one? I know HTML (obviously we both do), PASCAL, and last year I played around with python, and then deleted it off my computer. We should make a semi-bot according to the strictest of policies so no-one can say we unjustly ascertained the edits from it, plus it'll be way COOL--Kkrouni 18:35, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
That's great! I just know a little not that much though, but I enjoy reading plot less books (I think they dropped me on my head as a baby) so I'll be done reading python's intro in about an hour.--Kkrouni 18:53, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
You know, like books on HTML, and yes, I've read that a few times. Do I use too many comma's and question marks?Kkrouni

By my, my you mean about the books, or the effort?Kkrouni

Ok, If it'd be better for you then, but I've looked at allot of User pages for bots and only a small few publish them.--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 19:04, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Woah! Python is 1 million times easier than PASCAL! Why didn't they teach that at governer's school--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 19:06, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's your call. Pride and extreme effort, or no effort and just a little pride. Either way that's a whole lot of easy edits done for you.--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 19:10, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
When you download it it comes with about 30 pages of info. I'm on page 4.--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 19:12, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Blast, lunch. I will respond a bit later. Marlith T/C 19:14, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Does your mom run the library??? That was like 10 minutes! My mom's trying to get me to read this depressing book about the gradual introduction to XHTML which was obviously created by satin... So I've told her I'll read it at night which'll mean 4 hours a night after VBS... So in two hours I'm gone wahhhhh.--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 20:00, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Turns out that each of those pages I mentioned has about eight subpages, so 7 chapters to go before it starts telling me how to program...--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 20:04, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Woah this is complex guess how many times I had to imput this before it worked:
>>> the_world_is_flat = 1
>>> if the_world_is_flat:
... print "Be careful not to fall off!"
...
Be careful not to fall off!

The answer would be this:

>>> number_of_guesses = 1
>>> if number_of_guessed:
...     print "13 tries"
...
13 tries

--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 20:20, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Argh! This is going to be harder than expected!
Unlike a C string, Python strings cannot be changed. Assigning to an indexed position in the

string results in an error:

>>> word[0] = 'x'
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
TypeError: object doesn't support item assignment
>>> word[:1] = 'Splat'
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in ?
TypeError: object doesn't support slice assignment

However, creating a new string with the combined content is easy and efficient:

>>> 'x' + word[1:]
'xelpA'
>>> 'Splat' + word[4]
'SplatA'

You may or may not know how essential that is, and I don't comprehend how the combining content part is easy or efficient... That pywiki thing gave me a whole lot of files on my USB Flash drive, that are still unknown to me, but hopefuly we won't make an error when typing it (you can't copy or paste in python). When we understand it more fully we'll have to use one of our subpages for it. I have two that I don't realy use or we could put it on yours, but ahhh the effort required in all of the checks and rechecks. Well bye I've got to leave for VBS. Cheers!--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 21:41, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BUPC[edit]

You're joking when you say it's been postponed that long right? Right? RIGHT!:O--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 18:28, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's not too far away, were you joking there or were you just pulling our legs? And can I have your opinion of the bot idea?--Kkrouni/Ккроунл/ΚκρΩυνι 18:45, 12 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for your comment[edit]

Thank you for your comment on my RfA, which was successful. LyrlTalk C 00:32, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Can I ask when the next round of WP:BUPC is? Could you add me to the pending list and could you send me a message to let me know when its starting? Thanks --pizza1512 Talk Autograph 11:46, 13 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't been able to learn about python in two days[edit]

I've been grounded for the past two days (for calling my mom stupid after making me take a 5 hour trip to the mall and not buying anything) so I just want to say I haven't been able to learn anymore python, only that depressing XHTML language and "how great the W3C" are. So you're probably ahead of me about python.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 15:03, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And randomly you might find this helpful or not. I've seen this on a couple pages, there were a few variations, so I spliced for half an hour on notepad and came out with this but in all of it's 32 kilobyte glory it has one flaw: somewhere deep within it's coding lurks an imperfection an impurity that would take hours to find, and displays in an annoying manner on my userpage a random |} just next to it! I can't put the code directly on my userpage, because it would take a long time to find anything, so I wouldn't recomend substituting it and it would be a death warrant on your mind if you try to find the annoying random characters. Let's have some fun![edit]

This user challenges You to an edit off at a time when both users are awake. I can edit from now (your time, (PCT?) assuming you live in California, Washington, or that state between them) to 2:00pm today, or 6:00am to 2:00pm tomorrow (still your time). Rules are simple we each pick an article and get it as high a quality that we can (taking two days starting together at the same time each day), or try to get the most edits that we can in one day. Sound fun? And it gets our E.C. up. If it dosen't just shoot it down...--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 19:12, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

So let's asses the article's that we'll choose on a scale 1 to 100. I can't do any editing on Friday to late Monday mabey early Tuesday as you can see from my userpage. So it starts Tuesday. P.S. I did a E.R. for you, it's not that in depth though.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 19:53, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Randomly is the extra 10 seconds of time it takes to load this worth keeping it on my page?--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 19:55, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You too?!?! Wow, now I know that I'm not that weird (well mabey I am in real life). Well I never even knew most of those templates existed, and I can't view them in that convenient template off Wikipedia, so I'll just leave it on it's page. Thanks for the opinion.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 20:01, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I have an idea for a bot, please tell me if it sounds good: after we figure out how we program it, we a page where users can request (if they have a status icon) that their status be changed two hours after their last edit. But that would mean it wouldn't be a semi-bot, because a normal human couldn't make all those edits, unless they had absolutely no life, lived with their mother and got no sleep. That's just an idea though, but even after only taking a two week PASCAL course I know how 85% of the program would work if all user status pages had the same name. Apparently it's almost the same in python. It would make it easier if they also put down when they signed off every night, because it would require one of us to have a server instead of a router or direct connection and it would use a major portion of the bandwidth to check every user that signed up for it every minute.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 21:15, 15 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

More about my edits[edit]

How do you get so many edits each month? Somedays I can get equal to you but only durring RC Patrol for a hour. Could I have any tips?--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 16:13, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Also I have a more uniform version of your userboxes in my sandbox. If you like it feel free to copy it, becuase it is basicly your page. It's a bit "colorful" so I won't feel hurt if you don't use it. All I did was align them, and you may notice that by default they're aligned right, and they format weird if they're not aligned (bigest with bigest, smallest with smallest) Well I'm off to waste my time with T.V. and vacation! Cheers!--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 19:02, 16 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Oh yeah before I leave they have a status bot User:StatusBot

Hey there Marlith. Pass this smile on to three people telling them to pass it on to more three people. Let's see how far we can get this smile to go. --Tλε Rαnδom Eδιτor (tαlk) 23:21, 17 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

He's watching you, and how did you not see him Marlith?!?!

Great Job![edit]

Nice work so far with Parliament House, Canberra I really appreciate what your doing. I'll help in a bit but we just hit Wiki-defcon 1. See you! Dfrg.msc 06:58, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Whoa! It deleted it![edit]

It ate 20 pages??? Didn't you back it up? And what are you doing here! I almost know how you feel, my computer ate my 7 page summer reading project, but I un-deleted it (which took hours) using MS-DOS. Almost fried all the software, but yours seems much worse. Have you downloaded any more software/files since? Because if it was just deleted from the deleted items folder, the directory just marks it as deleted untill the sector is over-writen so there is a small possibility you can get it back, but I would reccoment using software (downloaded to your USB drive exclusively) or get a techy from geek squad on it. I have XP but I forgot the "code" to get it back, I can try to find it if you want though.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 17:55, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You have year round school? We have a 3 month break in the summer here. Wow I've lost all finger coordination after piano sorry typing this took so long. But I feel bad for you - all that work, just deleted! I mean there are thousands of scripts on the internet that could retreive it if you needed it. I'll look a few up real quick.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 22:55, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, but we acualy have an article on it Undeletion and I found this real quick. It seems reliable. --Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 23:06, 20 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks[edit]

I'm preTty sure cox will change me eitheR on the AnNiverSary of me getting their serviCe, or in December/January like Last time I think. Thanks for yoU're help. So Did you Ever get you're report back? --Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 02:18, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
But really have you finished you're report again (presumably on Atlas Shrugged)? Or did you get it back?--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 02:27, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Almost ready[edit]

I'll be ready in 10-20 minutes. My mom is using our desktop, and I'm on the VERY slow laptop. You wake up at 7 o'clock! I wake up at noon strange how someone across the country wakes up before me. Wow I've got so many updates installing it's not funny! It's taken 5 minutes to type this little bit of information.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 16:33, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah, how did the RfA go (from you're first archive)?16:44, 21 August 2007 (UTC)16:44, 21 August 2007 (UTC)16:44, 21 August 2007 (UTC)--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 16:44, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
At least you got one vote... Well I pestered my mom off the computer so I can have a go. I'd rate Parlament house a 92% because it's dry, kind of like tofu - you just need to add the artificial strawberry flavor. Hold on real quick while I find one that I know has a lot of info floating out there on it, just not in the article.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 16:55, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Found it! Well I remembered it. There is this little town in my boardering state of Virginia: Gloucester county. Too bad they didn't merge the articles but this is the article I choose. Plus my cousin Peter lives there, so I'll call him. You've got tough competition.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 17:01, 21 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That's Great![edit]

Wow it just randomly came back? Or did it come back after a restart? That must suck, writing like 15 pages then having it re-appear after you're almost done... Please remember to close you're markup tags --Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 18:02, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh yeah, what do you think of Gloucester County, Virginia? It's catching up with Parlament house.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 18:03, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Exterminate the tags??? No! Don't go to the W3C side, Luke! Keep using depreciated tags! Never forget. They will never kill the b tag, or the s tag, or the pre tag, only the makers of IE can do that. Speeking of which, do you think IE 6 is better than IE 7? IE 6 is like a million times easier.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 22:36, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Oh no![edit]

My cousin isn't a web page! Or does that not matter? What do I do??? Do I list User:Kkrouni, or just leave citation needed, or do I just write down every URL for a website about the county? P.S. you wouldn't happen to be good with style sheets would you? Like these

body { margin: 10px 10px 0px 10px; padding: 0px; }

  1. header {

height: 50px; background-color: yellow; padding: 5px; }

  1. navigation {

position: absolute; background-color:red; left: 10px; top: 70px; width: 150px; border: 1px solid #000; padding: 5px; }

  1. extras {

position: absolute; background-color:blue; right: 10px; top: 70px; width: 150px; border: 1px solid #000; padding: 5px; }

  1. content {

background-color: green; font color: red; margin-left: 162px; margin-right: 162px; padding: 5px; }

  1. footer {

border-top: 2px solid #000; padding: 5px; }

Like formating text for vividali (mabey it's spelled wrong see hirostat's signature I think it's vivaldi). Sorry, it's very hard to spell

--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 23:37, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]

That looks terrible, just look at it in the edit window, or in Notepad--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 23:46, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Stupid me... And rub it in my face why don't you (about spelling) ! My gosh you're understating it on parlament house! That whole page is a giant citation needed. No-one ever even goes to those websites anyways. Here I'll find a few for you, it might take a little bit though.--Kkrouni/Ккроуни/ΚκρΩυνι 23:55, 22 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
