Hi Washington95! With regard to the article you wrote, I will help anyway I can. What we really need to do is show that the song is notable, was it a single? Did it have a music video etc? If it was just a basic album track then it might not meet Wikipedias notability criteria. — Realist2 20:59, 17 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A little help[edit]

Hi Washington -- there is no need to apologize. I'm sorry if my comment came across as harsh or insensitive, because I'm really just here to help. Don't stay away from the project; I'm sure that you will be a master editor in no time! You just need to read up on how to edit and some of our policies and guidelines. First, I'd check out Help:Contents/Getting started. Please feel free to contact me about anything! Best, Happyme22 (talk) 00:37, 18 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Per your request: A quick review[edit]

This is going to be short, you haven't been here long enough to give a real review: 1) CLEAN UP YOUR USER PAGE... it has way too many pictures and they are too big. 2) I suggest keeping conversations on one page---eg if they come to your page, respond here. If you go to their page talk there. 3) I think the person who blocked you indefinitely did so harshly. The edit summary says that you were a vandalism only account. That's not an accurate summary. You did vandalize and you were warned (repeatedly) about vandalism. That being said, there were some non-vandalism edits in there. I would have blocked you, but not indef, I think that was a little extreme. 4)Keep your nose clean, familiarize yourself with WP:CIVIL and WP:NPA.---Balloonman PoppaBalloonCSD Survey Results 06:09, 4 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Adoption[edit]

Hello, Washington95. A couple weeks ago you left me a note asking about adoption; are you still looking for this? Sorry I haven't responded until now, I've been out for the last month and am just catching up on messages now. If you're still willing, drop me a line (you know where to find me). Happy editing! Your recent edits[edit]

Hi there. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. If you can't type the tilde character, you should click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your name and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you! --SineBot (talk) 00:53, 12 April 2009 (UTC)[reply]

November 2009[edit]

Welcome, and thank you for your attempt to lighten up Wikipedia. However, this is an encyclopedia and the articles are intended to be serious, so please don't make joke edits, as you did to Margaret Corbin. Readers looking for accurate information will not find them amusing. If you'd like to experiment with editing, try the sandbox, where you can write practically anything you want. BusterD (talk) 13:29, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Margaret Corbin, you will be blocked from editing. BusterD (talk) 13:32, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

meetup?[edit]

Hi there,

I got your name from the Wikimedia:Meetup/Ohio 1 page. I will be in Columbus Aug 8-11 and was wondering if any Wikimedians would be interested in meeting up then. If so, I started Wikipedia:Meetup/Ohio 2 for quick planning :) best, -- phoebe / (talk to me) 17:34, 5 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Children's Museum backstage pass[edit]

The Children's Museum Backstage Pass! - You are invited!
The Children's Museum of Indianapolis is hosting its second Backstage Pass and its first Edit-a-Thon on Saturday, August 20. The museum is opening its doors to Wikipedians interested in learning about the museum's collection, taking them on a tour of the vast collection before spending the afternoon working with curators to improve articles relating to the Caplan Collection of folk toys and Creative Playthings objects. Please sign up on the event page if you can attend, and if you'd like to participate virtually you can sign up on the Edit-a-Thon page. ---LoriLee (talk) 15:10, 17 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
