Filmographies are a standard part of articles about actors, and the article about Octavia Spencer should be no different than the one for (say) Maggie Gyllenhaal, Brad Pitt or Katie Holmes. I'm not throwing those names out at random - all three of the articles are what we call featured articles, meaning they represent the best of what Wikipedia has to offer, and all three have extensive filmographies present.

Additionally, I'm looking at the comment you made when you did the reversion: "wikipedia should allow the people being profiled the right to be "profiled" in a manner which suits them". Since you are the subject of the article, you may wish to read the relevant Wikipedia policy WP:Autobiography before making any additional edits. Sweetie, the fact is by having RANDOM individuals offer information about people that is at best incomplete is a DIS-service to the person being profiled. I've read articles countless times on various actors where grammar is an issue. If wikipedia had REAL writers doing these profiles it's one thing. but the general public is quite another: Everyone's educational level is different.— Preceding unsigned comment added by 10:48, November 18, 2010 (talkcontribs) Vpm911

What you said may be true, but that's separate from what I said about those policies. We have specific policies which must be followed - one of them is that all articles are from a Neutral point of view. It's kind of hard to do that when you're writing about yourself. Correcting factual errors or removing vandalism usually won't run the risk of violating NPOV, but editing beyond that can be problematic.
And lastly, why do you keep removing the filmography? As I said, they're a normal part of articles about actors... Tabercil (talk) 17:45, 18 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]
