Hi[edit]

Hi Valegal1 and a very warm welcome to Wikipedia. You should submit your article for review via the AFC process. Another experienced editor will review it for notability and move to mainspace. You are unable to create articles yourself as you are not yet autoconfirmed. Please ask further questions at the teahouse or on my talkpage. Cheers, Mahveotm (talk) 11:32, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Mahveotm (talk) please can you put me through on how I can be confirmed so i cant start creating articles? Valegal1 (talk) 12:24, 13 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Managing a conflict of interest[edit]

Information icon Hello, Valegal1. We welcome your contributions, but if you have an external relationship with the people, places or things you have written about on Wikipedia, you may have a conflict of interest (COI). Editors with a COI may be unduly influenced by their connection to the topic. See the conflict of interest guideline and FAQ for organizations for more information. We ask that you:

  • avoid editing or creating articles about yourself, your family, friends, company, organization or competitors;
  • propose changes on the talk pages of affected articles (see the {{request edit}} template);
  • disclose your COI when discussing affected articles (see WP:DISCLOSE);
  • avoid linking to your organization's website in other articles (see WP:SPAM);
  • do your best to comply with Wikipedia's content policies.

In addition, you must disclose your employer, client, and affiliation with respect to any contribution which forms all or part of work for which you receive, or expect to receive, compensation (see WP:PAID).

Also please note that editing for the purpose of advertising, publicising, or promoting anyone or anything is not permitted. Thank you. Theroadislong (talk) 16:52, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

You may be blocked from editing without further warning if you make any further edits without responding to the inquiry you received regarding undisclosed paid editing. - You have been told that the declaration of paid editing is mandatory. You are not permitted to edit until you have made that declaration. --David Biddulph (talk) 17:05, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't paid to do this. Thank you. David Biddulph (talk) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Valegal1 (talkcontribs) 17:13, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I was told by my boss to create the page. Please let me know if I need to provide more information. Thank you. David Biddulph (talk)Theroadislong (talk) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Valegal1 (talkcontribs) 17:16, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

In which case you need to make the mandatory declaration as stated at WP:PAID. - David Biddulph (talk) 17:20, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

AfC notification: Draft:Babatunde Irukera has a new comment[edit]

I've left a comment on your Articles for Creation submission, which can be viewed at Draft:Babatunde Irukera. Thanks! Theroadislong (talk) 16:54, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Signature[edit]

Information icon Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. When you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion (but never when editing articles), please be sure to sign your posts. There are two ways to do this. Either:

  1. Add four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment, or
  2. With the cursor positioned at the end of your comment, click on the signature button located above the edit window.

This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is necessary to allow other editors to easily see who wrote what and when.

Thank you. --David Biddulph (talk) 17:21, 14 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
