The kana ヱ and ヲ are obsolete since 1946, and are no longer used in modern japanese except as pure stylistic devices. Their original pronunciation (which was indeed "we" and "wo") has "devolved" into "e" and "o". Indeed, they became stricts equivalents of エ and オ.
Hepburn romanization is based on english phonology, thus aiming at reproducing (or being close to) the real japanese sounds, instead of sticking to the writing. Writing don't change, but pronunciation does, and Hepburn reflects that. The Hepburn romanization of ヱ and ヲ was indeed officially modified as the characters became obsolete and were absorbed by others. Nowadays you won't find a Hepburn chart featuring the kana ゑ (ヱ) and を (ヲ) romanized as "we" and "wo". You'll only find "e" and "o" (see there: Official website of Tokyo Metropolitan Bureau of Citizens, Culture and Sports)
Thus, ヱヴァンゲリヲン is pronunced "evangerion", not "Wevangeriwon". You just have to listen to the various japanese commercials... ヱヴァンゲリヲン is a modern word, and Hideaki Anno just used obsolete characters for a stylistic purpose, but the pronunciation remains exactly the same as it was with "エヴァンゲリオン". There is thus no reason to use the obsolete, historical pronunciation of ヱ and ヲ. Since with Evangelion, we're not dealing with a historic of japanese phonology, historical and obsolete pronunciations dating back from 50 years ago won't be used. Are you insinuating that Wikipedia has developed and is using an entirely new and original Hepburn system, altogether different from the true Hepburn or even from the japanese language ? Unless I'm mistaken, original research is not allowed on Wikipedia. Meaning Wikipedia doesn't define it's own rules concerning japanese pronunciations, but applies the ones already existing and currently in use.
Why are you so stubborn, it's even written in the article you're refering to that ヱ is obsolete and that ヲ "should be written o phonetically".
To come back to our problem, I can't see why you could revert and impose your version while absolutely nothing allows you to substanciate it. I have provided a thorough and indisputable explanation of why I am correct, using very clear proofs like official Hepburn charts currently in use in Japan (from the official website of the Tokyo prefecture). And you just didn't bother to answer anything to this.
In this conditions, if you cant, or don't even want to provide sources backing you up, thus violating the basic principle of WP, I can't see why you'd be authorised to revert the article to your version. That you don't like to be wrong and you want to have it your own way, are not valid reasons on Wikipedia.

Which all bring back the fact that the character ヱ and ヲ have been entirely replaced by エ and オ, and that using the historic romanization of obsolete characters is completely irrelevant, misleading, and false, since Hepburn is supposed to reflect pronunciation based on english phonology. "We", "wo" and "e", "o" are entirely different sounds even in english phonology, and even in japanese there is no "we" or "wo" (as associated with ヱ and ヲ), but only "e" and "o".

I'm not sure where you nabbed the one with "THE AFTER" and no hyphens around 月の帰還, but it's clearly ファイナルファンタジーIV ジ・アフター -月の帰還- in both the logo and on the game's entry at Square's Jump Festa 2008 page; ファイナルファンタジーIV ジ・アフター is the title, and -月の帰還- is the subtitle (hence the hyphens). Well, I didn't think it had anything to do with a monkey, but it was the closest translation anyone could come up with, so I went with that for the time being until I could ask a friend of mine who was more fluent in the language. He was stumped to, so I changed it back to "de osaru" until we see the episode for ourselves... As far as I can figure out, no one in Ryusei 2 adds "de osaru" to their statements. I reverted you because you changed the spelling of "blonde" to "blond" without rationale. The general rule of Wikipedia is don't change UK spellings to US ones and vice-versa without just cause. Since you didn't provide a good rationale (or any rationale), I'm going to assume you only changed it because you are American and prefer the spelling to be "your" way. However, if you found the spelling on official SquareEnix press releases/web pages to be spelled "blond", then you could change it, and link to those pages on the talk page. Actually, I've found that this appears to be the very first time "blond" was added to the article, and it was spelled without the "e". The rule is to leave the spelling the way it was initially, if there is no reason to change it. May I ask why you have decapitalized the romanizations in JapaneseTitle paramaters in edits such as this? Tazumili is just Nintendo of America not knowing that the village already had an official English spelling. It's supposed to be spelt "Tazmily" according to the old Mother 3 (N64 version) page on Nintendo's Japanese site. It's, of course, no longer up, but it can still be seen on the Internet Archive. Here's a link to the page. The sentence I'm talking about is "ちなみに、『タツマイリ』のスペルは、“TAZMILY”となります。" which means "By the way, the spelling of 『タツマイリ』 becomes "TAZMILY". It appears that NoA didn't know there was already an official English spelling. Like how they originally were going to use "Klaus" in Lucas' trophy description, but changed it to the correct "Claus". Nintendo Power used "Tazmily" for EarthBound 64 back before the game was canceled as well.

Kirby Super Star is a game for the Super NES called "Hoshi no Kirby Super Deluxe" in Japan. The japanese particle "no" is a possessive particle. It can be seen to work backwards in some cases, by the two enterpretations of translations involving the partticle, which eventually amount to meaning the same thing.
"no" literally means "'s", and therefore sleeve's white snow.
You could also translate is as white snow of the sleeve, which means exactly the same thing. (The posession comes after the particle.) As you probably know, many fansubs have translated it as sleeve of white snow - and that is exactly what "shirayuki no sode" means. It wouldn't make much sense grammatically unless you put "ka" ("か" or "乎") at the end to signify a question. On the MOS:JP talk page, a discussion has been started about including or not including romanizations for words of English origin, such as Fainaru Fantajī in Final Fantasy (ファイナルファンタジー, Fainaru Fantajī) (for the sake of simplicity, I called this case "words of English origin", more information on semantics here).
Over the course of a month, it has become apparent that both the parties proposing to include or not include those romanizations cannot be convinced by the arguments or guidelines brought up by the other side. Therefore, a compromise is trying to be found that will satisfy both parties. One suggestion on a compromise has been given already, but it has not found unanimous agreement, so additional compromises are encouraged to be suggested.
One universally accepted point was to bring more users from the affected projects in to help achieve consensus, and you were one of those selected in the process.

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Giratina to Sora no Hanataba. Note that the three-revert rule prohibits making more than three reversions in a content dispute within a 24 hour period. Additionally, users who perform a large number of reversions in content disputes may be blocked for edit warring, even if they do not technically violate the three-revert rule. If you continue, you may be blocked from editing. Please do not repeatedly revert edits, but use the talk page to work towards wording and content that gains a consensus among editors.
