Welcome to Wikipedia[edit]

Hi, welcome to the website. Thanks for your recent edits on SS related articles. I apologize in advance for this question, but given that you started out editing with an apparent knowledge of templates (something normally only editors who have been around awhile know about), would you mind confirming if you have had presently or in the past another account? I ask this only due to a standing administration issue about SS rank articles, particularly that they have been watched since the mid 2000s given a long term history of abuse by a certain editor. General of the branch et al[edit]

I agree that general of the branch is (was) a mess. I've had a go at it since your attempts, and between us, it stinks a bit less. I can't justify getting rid of it, but some of the articles that link to it (like Feldzeugmeister - see WP:USEENGLISH for just one reason) are screaming out to be turned into redirects, with some of their content (if any) incorporated into general of the branch. I totally agree. Thank you very much for your note! By the way: the articles you mentioned were written by a German "author" who has meanwhile received an infinite ban for constant copyright violations... No problem - and it's nice to get such positive response! I recognise the editor you're talking about. He's banned indefinitely at German Wikipedia, and currently on a one month ban here on English Wikipedia. I've seen the damage he's done to articles on Russian ranks. I don't think so... It's simply another one of these pseudo-German military articles, focusing on one aspect of the uniforms. The style is also nothing to write home about, if you ask me.
