Suggest clockwise/anticlockwise better than to/from Southern Cross and/or Richmond, or maybe options "via Southern Cross to North Melbourne" / "via City Loop to North Melbourne" etc? Also, the Line column should have links to those respective pages. Alamein and Blackburn could be grouped as PL04/06/07, since Ringwood trains usually stick to 2/3? To address things in order: I chose to add the "towards" bit to deal with the fact that "anti-clockwise" via Parliament, for example, is very different to "anti-clockwise" towards Richmond, but I like the "via" wording. Might change it to that. I'll add the line and station links once I'm finished to avoid any WP:OVERLINK but that is an obvious one. I'm hesitant to do any groupings other than the "official" ones since I don't have any reliable sources stating that information, and I think it is unlikely they exist. In any case, describing services by the platform they use rather than by line is a rather gunzelly approach that I'm not sure is appropriate for a general-audience article. Fair enough re unofficial groupings; was mainly suggested because from memory Blackburn and Alamein together form the inner tier of services during peaks Anothersignalman (talk) 06:21, 19 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
