Welcome![edit]

Hello, Tonytlc, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions.

I noticed that one of the first articles you edited was Sheri Holman, which appears to be dealing with a topic with which you may have a conflict of interest. In other words, you may find it difficult to write about that topic in a neutral and objective way, because you are, work for, or represent, the subject of that article. Your recent contributions may have already been undone for this very reason. [snip]

22 edits over 2 years and 8 months, 18 of them to the Holman bio page, is a little unusual. That's why I thought you might have a COI, 220 of Borg 17:45, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
{{Help me}} I am not the subject, and don't work for or represent the subject. I admire and follow her work, certainly. I've probably made some minor edits on other pages of interest, and if I did more of that, it might not appear over-represented on this one. I've always tried to cite primary sources and maintain an arms-length tone. I'm not sure what else one can do to provide more depth to an entry that started out as little more than a placeholder several years ago.Tonytlc (talk) 18:02, 16 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
That's perfectly fine. Unfortunately, such 'single purpose' editing may indicate a PR person editing on a WP:BLP subjects behalf, or the person themselves editing their bio. One thing you could do to improve the article is to add more details to the references. If the toolbar above the editing window has "Cite" on the right end, click on it and you can then chose a template that you can just copy & paste, titles, dates, publishers etc into to produce really good references. Sources often get moved about or archived, and with those details they can be relocated, maintaining WP: Verifiability. See also Help: Referencing.
• There are of course many biographies that need expansion.
• To use the help template {{Help me}} you don't want "tlc" before it. I meant to put "tlx" which links it to the template's page for help with using it. My goof! [[File:|25px|link=]] 220 of Borg 06:42, 17 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]
