February 2024[edit]

Information icon Hello. Your recent edit appears to have added the name of a non-notable entity to a list that normally includes only notable entries. In general, a person, organization or product added to a list should have a pre-existing article before being added to most lists. If you wish to create such an article, please first confirm that the subject qualifies for a separate, stand-alone article according to Wikipedia's notability guideline. Thank you. Dear DMacks,
Thank you for your message.
The list of notable open source health software is currently missing the teleconsultation platforms all together.
HCW@home is one of the few institutional grade open-source platforms offering teleconsultations. It matches all criteria of open source requirements reason why it was listed as public digital good https://app.digitalpublicgoods.net/a/11127.
It is used by state hospitals, clinics and NGOs such as ICRC. In today's landscape, it is definitely one of the solutions someone would consider when researching the topic of open source software for telemedecine/teleconsultation reason why we have included it in this list.
Please let me know if you need additional elements on the matter.
Thank you for your consideration into this topic.
Kind regards,
Tobias TobiaskGVA (talk) 10:20, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, I had the wrong links in my message... "should have"...it should refer to our "general notability guideline" and "pre-existing article" should link to our "write the article first" recommendation for helping comply with it. Essentially it is not my, your, or any other WP editor's judgement about importance of something or whether we want to recommend it to others. DMacks (talk) 14:48, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
  • Please do not edit again without complying with the provisions of the conflict of interest guideline and the other related considerations mentioned above. Also please don't edit any page both with and without being logged into your account, as doing so may lead to confusion. JBW (talk) 12:34, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
