Hello, ThunderPop, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

Picking articles[edit]

Dont forget to practice talk page editing by introducing yourself on a classmates talk page. Now it is time to choose an article to create or edit. Pick 3-5 potential articles and list them below. A good place to start is WikiProject Mass spectrometry. At the bottom of the page is the table of articles by quality and importance (also here) and the list of popular pages (also here). Potential Articles[edit]

  1. Surface-enhanced laser desorption/ionization - This article is currently just a short start-class, but I feel it could have more detailed information on the sample prep (like the MALDI article) and applications
  2. Thermospray - This is just a short start-class article, lots of room to add information on this topic
  3. Sample preparation in mass spectrometry - Start-class article, could use sections on sample prep for other forms of mass spectrometry
  4. Top-down proteomics - This article is a very short stub-class, I believe there is a great deal of information available to further expand this topic
