Hello:

The copy edit that you requested from the Guild of Copy Editors of the article Helen McEntee has been completed.

You will notice that I archived one of the article’s citations (#3). (The websites for the first two citations do not allow archiving.) I suggest that you archive the rest of the article’s URLs, if possible, as time allows. This ensures that the article's references are available "forever" and that it doesn’t develop “dead links” over time. The site I use is https://archive.org/web/. Simply copy the URL in the citation and paste it in the “Save Page Now” box on the archive.org site and click save. This creates a copy of the original page and provides you with a new URL to add to the original citation. If you look at the URL I've archived you'll see the syntax. You add the new URL to the end of the original citation like this: |archiveurl=http etc|archivedate=7 September 2015}}. Not all websites allow archiving so there's not much you can do about that unless there is an alternate citation you could use.

Please go to the file description page, and edit it to include a non-free rationale.

You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Hi Paul. If you and other editor(s) think those videos are legit, feel free to add them (per Ghmyrtle's opinion [1]). However, they're still unreliable in my opinion. And I'm against pov version and unconfirmed categories[2], especially when there are zero official/reliable sources for such claims. --Wario-Man (talk) 05:11, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

@Wario-Man: I have said I don't think it's a good idea to add them. If we could find something else reliable like a news story, where we could say she has claimed to have ancestry from various countries, then great. Otherwise let's not add it. This is Paul (talk) 15:41, 16 November 2016 (UTC)

Voting in the 2016 Arbitration Committee elections is open from Monday, 00:00, 21 November through Sunday, 23:59, 4 December to all unblocked users who have registered an account before Wednesday, 00:00, 28 October 2016 and have made at least 150 mainspace edits before Sunday, 00:00, 1 November 2016.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

Thanks, I had a great Sunday as it happens, at the German Market in Birmingham. I haven't been on here since last night, but I see someone reverted the edits I mentioned shortly after my post. The BLP noticeboard would probably have been a better solution than WP:ANI, so if this happens again I'll raise the matter there. I didn't want to revert the changes myself though because it seemed like a slightly delicate subject, and possibly better suited to someone with a slightly more nurturing temperament.
