I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Oh yeah, I almost forgot, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

Party Like a Rockstar[edit]

Hi there, just to let you know that I've reverted your changes to this article. I don't think this page needs moving to "Party like a Rock Star" because Wikipedia's naming conventions for album and song titles and band names are generally to use to actual title of the work, and capitalise most words except for conjunctions etc. So if the actual title uses "Rockstar", then we don't need to 'correct' that to "Rock Star". I'm assuming though that the title does actually use "Rockstar"; I don't know the work myself, but it looks like it from the image of the cover. I hope that makes sense, and thanks for contributing though! Cheers, DWaterson (talk) 00:39, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

But "like" is to not be capitalized according to WP:CAPS. Thethirdsoldier (talk) 00:56, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I am Rappingwonders' brother, not a sock of him. Thethirdsoldier (talk) 21:32, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

If true, WP:MEAT applies. — Sandstein (talk) 21:38, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. Request reason:

And how am I a sockpuppet? And what the fuck is a meatpuppet? I have no clue what all that stuff on that section means. Please unblock because I have done nothing wrong. Thethirdsoldier (talk) 21:41, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Decline reason:

Please read WP:SOCK. This explains why you have been blocked. — Yamla (talk) 21:42, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Request reason:

You're gonna have to explain what it means, because I am no sock, no vandalizer, no 3RR violator, nothing like that. So EXPLAIN to me why I can't be unblocked even though I didn't do a single thing except help Wikipedia. Thethirdsoldier (talk) 21:44, 6 February 2008 (UTC)

Unblock abuse. — Yamla (talk) 21:57, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

And furthermore, I do believe that Spellcast should be de-sysoped for just accusing people of socking with absolutely NO proof that they are a sock. Thethirdsoldier (talk) 21:47, 6 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Third Soldier, you are not addressing your block, and going about appealing it, in the correct manner: for a start, swearing at the handling administrator doesn't exactly boost my confidence in your ability to contribute to a collaborative encyclopedia.
Firstly, it is essential you review Wikipedia:Sock puppetry—that explains exactly what a sock puppet account is. To briefly sum that page up, a sock puppet account is an account which is created by an individual with the intent of using that sock account to edit in addition to their original account, to edit around a block on the original account. There are also numerous other reasons sock puppet accounts may be created, all of which are outlined on that page.
Secondly, a meat puppet is explained here; please take time to read that section thoroughly, and your queries on that topic should be answered. Lastly, it is clear that the blocking administrator is privy to evidence which I am not aware of, which points towards your account being a sock puppet. If you are a sock puppet, you are not going to gain any progress through this account. My advice is to return to your old account and start a-fresh; if you cannot (e.g., you are indefinitely blocked), email me, and I will examine the circumstances and establish whether there is a chance of you getting a second chance.
However, it is important you take a step back, and address this matter in a calm and collected manner: getting heated up will only harm your chances of getting unblocked. Please take on board my advice, and then we'll proceed from there. If you have any responses, please feel free to contact me, and I will relay your opinions to a discussion on your block.
Best regards,
