Hello, The luigi kart assasions, and welcome to Wikipedia! Thank you for your contributions. I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Unfortunately, one or more of your edits have not conformed to Wikipedia's verifiability policy, and have been reverted. Wikipedia articles should refer only to facts and interpretations that have been stated in print or on reputable websites or other forms of media. Always remember to provide a reliable source for quotations and for any material that is likely to be challenged, or it may be removed. Wikipedia also has a related policy against including original research in articles.

There is a page about the verifiability policy that explains the policy in greater detail, and another that offers tips on the proper ways of citing sources. If you are stuck and looking for help, please come to the New contributors' help page, where experienced Wikipedians can answer any queries you have! Or, you can just type {{helpme}} on your user page, and someone will show up shortly to answer your questions. Here are a few other good links for newcomers:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Please sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); this will automatically produce your name and the date. If you have any questions, check out Wikipedia:Where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Again, welcome!  --Silver Edge 21:34, 4 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wii image[edit]

I can't remove the image myself yet, but your image will likely be removed soon. There was NO reason for that pic to go up. The previous pic was a free pic and was just fine. Just wanting your pic up is not good enough and you should have discussed it first (especially after I reverted it and said to discuss it on the talk page first). TJ Spyke 05:00, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I do like the image that was up there but if you look close there's a beta in other game shot's there's no beta. What i'm saying is that just delete the background and leave the image . BUT IF YOU WANT to put the image back up go on. — Preceding unsigned comment added by The luigi kart assasions (talkcontribs) 01:10, November 25, 2007

Congratulations. Putting it back on the page was not a smart idea. Here's a warning message for you. Thank you for experimenting with Wikipedia. Your image was inserted successfully and has been reverted or removed. Please use the sandbox for any other tests you want to do. Take a look at the welcome page if you would like to learn more about contributing to our encyclopedia. Thank you. --Luigi6138 (talk) 05:21, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

License tagging for Image:Ps2ocean.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Ps2ocean.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 06:10, 25 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Crash team racing 004.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading or contributing to Image:Crash team racing 004.jpg. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Wikipedia constitutes fair use. Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.

If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Crash team racing 004.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Crash team racing 004.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:38, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Crashbash2.jpg)[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Crashbash2.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not.

You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. • Its a me the luigi kart assasions saying delete the image for right now.

Don't you get the point?[edit]

A tag has been placed on Image:Ratchetclankupyourarsenal06 2.jpg, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done for the following reason:

user:The luigi kart assasions does obviously not own this image

Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not meet basic Wikipedia criteria may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as an appropriate article, and if you can indicate why the subject of this article is appropriate, you may contest the tagging. To do this, add {{hangon}} on the top of the page and leave a note on [[Talk:Image:Ratchetclankupyourarsenal06 2.jpg|the article's talk page]] explaining your position. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm its subject's notability under the guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. .  . 00:12, 3 December 2007 (UTC)

Fair Use Rationales[edit]

Hi, I just added a fair use rationale to Screenshot 186619.jpg ------)

File:Screenshot 186619.jpg
Image

You should include one with every copyrighted picture you upload; it is basically a reason why you should host the image. You can structure it like my one if you wish:

Fair use rationale

This image is not likely to cause any financial loss to (company), it does not limit (company)'s ability to sell the game; it is already hosted on many sites, where it has done no harm.

Hope it helps. --RaviC (talk) 19:25, 6 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Re: Being Bold[edit]

Regarding your message, the actions I took were in accordance with the consensus arrived at after discussion at Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of other Happy Tree Friends characters. I was not acting unilaterally (if I had my way, the articles would have been deleted outright), but rather according to the direction agreed upon by participants in that discussion. It is not vandalism at all. Powers T 02:53, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Please try to avoid run-on sentences; they make your messages very hard to read. Punctuation and capitalization are useful. Regarding the content, as I said, the community consensus was to treat these articles in this way. Our guidelines on Writing About Fiction demand it. Some basic and minor plot summary may be re-added to the article, but nothing on the level of what was there before will be acceptable. Powers T 13:28, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Luigi, you're completely right, and i agree with everything you have said, LtPowers hasn't merged the pages, he's just eradicated all the information. Does he even watch Happy Tree Friends, does he know anything about it? A lot of people, me included, came onto Wikipedia, thinking we knew all there was to know about the characters, but we learnt so much more from those pages, and he deleted them! He says that the notability needs to be checked, we learnt something from those pages! That's notable! If he's an Administator, i think he's abusing his power, whether he knows it or not. I set up my account just last week to improve the HTF area of Wikipedia, and within that one week, he's annihilated half the HTF info, i hate to see where this could lead.
We need a group of people to stand up for this part of Wikipedia, otherwise, there could be hardly anything left, and i'm making an episode guide, if he dares to delete that, i will never forget it.
Pyro Python (talk) 16:49, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

If you have a problem with the decision rendered in Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/List of other Happy Tree Friends characters, take it up with the administrator who assessed the discussion, User:Yamamoto Ichiro. Your statements above indicate that you don't understand what is meant on Wikipedia when we refer to "notability." Please read Wikipedia:Notability and see if you still think that individual HTF characters can meet those standards. If you do, then explain it carefully and with consideration on the talk page, being sure to provide reliable, third-party sources. Powers T 17:50, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Oh, and if you have a problem with my specific actions, Wikipedia:Requests for comment/User conduct is just a click away. Powers T 17:53, 30 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

HTF Wiki[edit]

Yeah, i know about the character's info on the character list page, thanks, but i was a bit annoyed about all the data deleted, so i went to wikia and started up "The Happy Tree Friends Wiki", but it hasn't got very much done so far, i still need to add info from here onto there.
