Keser Article

Hi Terrasidius, thanks very much for your message! I appreciate your support. Aereogramme are amazing and a big influence for us, I'm still sad that they are no longer going. I thought their latest release 'my heart has a wish that you would not go' was one of the best, and very promising - a breakthrough even. But alas it was not to be! I would welcome any help with editing the Keser page, feel free to do so, just let me know.

Thanks,

Kevan

link to British

Hello, when you want to link to the article about something British, please do not link to British, as that is a disambiguation page (which nothing should be linked to). Instead link to the one of the options found on that page such as United Kingdom, Great Britain or British English by writing out [[United Kingdom|British]] or [[Great Britain|British]]. Hi

Regarding the Latin names of our 'Sol'ar system and beyond; you do know that earths proper name is Terra dont you, your interests et cetera seem to suggest this. Thanks, D.

I'm familiar with the latin name. However, this is an English-language page. Your assertion about IAU standardizing on Terra needs a citation. Otherwise it does not appear to be a valid modification. I added a comment to the Talk:Earth page for discussion. Thank you. — RJH (talk) 14:42, 5 July 2007 (UTC)

Wikiproject U2

Hello, I just wanted to let you know about a new department of the U2 Wikiproject. It is called the Collaboration of the Fortnight department, and we would like your help! This week's collaboration is U2. You can find out more here. If you want to receive a notice whenever a new collaboration begins, contact me here. Thanks! Sincerely, Neranei

Alien III score cat. no.

Why thank-you, i'd even forgotten that i had! ha ha. i'm working for WP:ALBUMS "clearing" Alex's new albums list by cleaning up album articles for format and minor things, and sometimes i make minor adds along the way. Meanwhile, congratulations on your sterling contribution to soundtrack articles... i've noticed your name coming up on a lot of created soundtracks while going thru the list. Cheers, tomasz. 23:22, 2 February 2008 (UTC)

lol, right, well heres the way I see it; Someone comes onto Wikipedia and hurls abuse at a user on it (why? Who knows), obviously wanting to remain anonymous by not being honest and saying who they are, no, just telling them they are a "TWAT". However wouldnt it be complete TWATery for the abuser to make that comment from his place of business (whatever business that might be) at the "Alloa Citizens Adive Bureau"? And then to leave there IP address there for all the world to see (its been prtscn'd)? Never mind that going on to Wikipedia and calling someone a TWAT is childish and dare I say TWATery. April 2008 Warning Message

Please stop. If you continue to violate Wikipedia's neutral point of view policy by adding commentary and your personal analysis onto discussion pages, you will be blocked from editing Wikipedia. Edits such as this one are not only not adhering to a neutral point of view but also a disruption to the process of discussion by intelligent, well meaning editors. Please cease from such behaviour if you wish to remain a part of the wiki-community. --VS talk 12:12, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

Sorry what?

What was that all about, on my talk page? ΤΕΡΡΑΣΙΔΙΩΣ(Ταλκ) 12:15, 29 April 2008 (UTC)

  • Ahmm - am I mistaken - has someone usurped your signature in the edit diff that I provided? If so I apologise and let me know so I can get to the bottom of it? --VS talk 12:18, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
  • Lol, oh no that was me. I was just saying something that most people know, I mean, really I wasnt saying ALL admins are but...cant you take a little criticism? Even in the form of a passing elbow nudge comment? Really? It was like something a ten year old would have shrugged off, Im not a terrorist or anything, lol. Anyway point taken, "Dont even THINK about even thinking about criticizing admins evar!" Np...ΤΕΡΡΑΣΙΔΙΩΣ(Ταλκ) 12:25, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
    • That's really not it young man - it is more that for you to come to a general discussion page in such a cowardly drive by manner and write something rude and out of context when other more sensible editors are attempting to solve a problem - well that's the issue. On the other hand if you want to criticise then try and have the intestinal fortitude to do so directly with an Admin - BUT do not make the mistake of making a personal attack. Do it properly and you will find that most Admins (including myself) will take in on the chin no problem.--VS talk 12:30, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
      • As I said - your criticisms are fine - but comments like why does Wikipedia continually pick complete assholes to become admins? placed on a public page and for that matter others on sincere talk pages such as this one do not do you the justice that you so sincerely appear to be expressing with user boxes on your page about your IQ level and your philosophy interests. That said I accept that you realise that you passed on a childish comment - no real harm done. A warning is just that a warning - not the end of the world. Take care. --VS talk 13:08, 29 April 2008 (UTC)
why does Wikipedia continually pick complete assholes to become admins? is missing the point... they elect each other! Once one is in, they get to approve more of their kind joining and gang up against those who they cannot subsume into their borg!
Have you never heard of the saying shit attracts flies!?

Assassin's Creed score move

Hi Terrasidius, you recently posted to my talk page, asking me why I had redirected your page without discussing it in the talk page. I figured that it had been a simple mistake in naming-- (game score) is found only in four pages, all of which are recent, while soundtrack is found in many, many pages and has been used on wiki for a long time. However, you are right, I should have changed the nav page, and at least written an explanation for why I was doing it, in at least the edit summary, and probably the discussion page. I will resolve to do it next time--I must have been working too quickly. Nnythm (talk) 19:07, 30 April 2008 (UTC)

Hitman Soundtrack.

I have redirected your article to the article which exist from January 2008. I could not help wonder when you knew there was page that exist and yet you created a new Hitman: Blood Money soundtrack.--SkyWalker (talk) 17:22, 6 May 2008 (UTC)

Im sorry could you be clearer, yes I knew a page already existed for the game but not the score so I created one along with a whole bunch of other and a navbox, just trying to help out with Jesper Kyd related stuff, I didnt know another existed for if i had known i would just stuck it in the chronology. Alos, i added audio and more info including a quote, also references. could you provide a link to the one you created so i can see it please. ΤΕΡΡΑΣΙΔΙΩΣ(Ταλκ) 14:48, 7 May 2008 (UTC)

Hey buddy!

haha, I like to keep all my Wikipedia nasty grams. They make me chuckle.

Hey, if you want to try K it can be very tough to get. You have to either go to raves or Mexico. But, I know a place online that ships it. Check out http://www.globalpharm.blogspot.com

Here's the simple steps to get K delivered to your home:

1) Setup a hushmail.com email address

2) Contact globalpharmonline@hushmail.com and let him know what you want. Here's the K they have along with prices. Make sure you tell him you want the brand Indus. The other brand they have sucks.

Ketamine 5000mg bottle $180.00

Ketamine500mg Inj 10ml Rotex Germany$25.00

Ketamine250mg Inj 5ml Indus $15.00

Ketamine 50mg Inj 2ml Indus $5.00

The 5000mg bottle = 10 (10ml) viles. That breaks out to 5 grams powder. One 10ml vile breaks out into half a gram of powder.

It's real easy to get the liquid into powder if you don't know how to do it. Just put it on a plate and boil water underneath it until it evaporates, then you'll be left with the powder. You can also put the liquid on pyrex in the oven. Be careful not to heat the liquid anymore than once it's gone otherwise you'll burn your shit.

Anyway, happy k-holing! Have fun! K69 (talk) 10:59, 14 May 2008 (UTC)

FSOL

Hi man. Yeah, I keep meaning to add more to the page. I run the secondthought.co.uk site so after long updates there I tend to lose interest in writing more! But I'll add a bit this afternoon I think... Glad to see there are other people interested in spreading the FSOL info! —Preceding unsigned comment added by Purlieu (talkcontribs) 14:58, 31 May 2008 (UTC)

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 10:07, 2 June 2008 (UTC)

Pics

I'm never entirely sure what counts as free and non-free, but the biggest collection of pics on the web is on my site - browse the images section on secondthought.co.uk/fsol and use any of them, there's a section for pictures of them as a 'duo' as well as individual ones. That is if they're ok to use on here, of course. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Purlieu (talkcontribs) 12:51, 7 June 2008 (UTC)

The only magazine cover I can think of is this: http://img145.imageshack.us/my.php?image=freezecover57ses8.jpg - they don't appear on any CD covers other than Expander, which is http://www.mtv.com/shared/media/images/amg_covers/200/drg700/g783/g78365pa3g8.jpg (biggest one I can find). Awards-wise, I have no idea really - there's a picture of them picking up an award but I have absolutely no idea where/when/what it is. Other than that I've not heard anything, they've always stayed far enough out of the limelight to not win any I think! Accelerator didn't make the UK top 40 albums, other than that I don't know really. Do you know where the #75 position came from on the Wiki page (ditto with #44 for ISDN), I only know how to get chart positions from everyhit.com which only lists the top 40? And cheers - but how did you know I was writing a sitcom? Haha. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Purlieu (talkcontribs) 14:52, 20 June 2008 (UTC)

What is "fgs"?

I guess it does not hold a good meaning, since you reverted to your covy-violation version with rude edit summary with it. I want your explanation on 'fgs'. I hope it is not related to F-words, or "fag".--Caspian blue (talk) 21:06, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Unlike your claim, the myspace blog has no information in regard that the copyrighter releases the lyrics undre GDFL and I can't even convince that the blogspace is even his due to the description like this

Sources... Lyrics and music provided by Voice of Korea.

If the blogger is the copyrighter, why would not he say like "lyrics is copyrighted by the blogger". Moreover, when making an ID of blogspace, thers is no need for identification card, so how would I know that the blogger is the same person of the writer? In addition, blog is not reliable source. I think you breach many Wikipedia rules on the matter. If you keep reverting the page, I will let administrators know and judge the situation. Regards--Caspian blue (talk) 21:25, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

Oh, you're making another personal attacks.
  • why did the sudden victim complex of paranoia begin to take root in your mind?
  • whats the big deal? are you going to hide behind flawd wikipedia WIKI:RULES or make a common sense decision.
  • And Im not going to get into an edit war over something so fucking stupid as that, go do your thing, and then think about it hard. grow up

Whatever I edit in Wikipedia, that would become my own business. The article is not own by you, and there is no evidence that the Youtube video is spread by the copyright holder's intention. You keep failing to provide a valid permission from the copyright holder. I let administrators know of this. Regards. --Caspian blue (talk) 21:38, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

You are free to explain your alleged public domain on Fucking USAand your feeling on me at WP:ANI. Thanks--Caspian blue (talk) 22:07, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Would you stop making personal attacks at me? I do not think that your behavior is mature and well-behaved or highly praised one. If you refrain yourself from doing disruptive, why would I waste my time with you? REGARDS.--Caspian blue (talk) 22:14, 2 July 2008 (UTC)
Why do you keep coming my talk page unlike your own promise for yourself? Once you stop and behave well, I would not need to visit you with so graceful mind and right judgment.--Caspian blue (talk) 22:21, 2 July 2008 (UTC)

English Wikipaedia Campaign

Now then mate, would you like to join a "English English" Wiki split campaign? I've been on WP for years, and tried in vain years ago to do it. I've since observed a lot of Brits share the antipathy towards Americanese on WP. What I noted was that other languages, like Norwegian (Nynorsk & Bokmal) have two WPs; as do others (Dutch, Flemish, Afrikaans...) so there is plenty of precedent. How would you feel about forming a "user group" to actively campaign for the split? The main focus to begin with would be to spread the word and recruit as many people as possible: a few hundred users should have some weight. What do you think?

Oxford Wikimania 2010 and Wikimedia UK v2.0 Notice

Hi,

As a regularly contributing UK Wikipedian, we were wondering if you wanted to contribute to the Oxford bid to host the 2010 Wikimania conference. Please see here for details of how to get involved, we need all the help we can get if we are to put in a compelling bid.

We are also in the process of forming a new UK Wikimedia chapter to replace the soon to be folded old one. If you are interested in helping shape our plans, showing your support or becoming a future member or board member, please head over to the Wikimedia UK v2.0 page and let us know. We plan on holding an election in the next month to find the initial board, who will oversee the process of founding the company and accepting membership applications. They will then call an AGM to formally elect a new board who after obtaining charitable status will start the fund raising, promotion and active support for the UK Wikimedian community for which the chapter is being founded.

You may also wish to attend the next London meet-up at which both of these issues will be discussed. If you can't attend this meetup, you may want to watch Wikipedia:Meetup, for updates on future meets.

We look forward to hearing from you soon, and we send our apologies for this automated intrusion onto your talk page!

Well done! I assume you're referring to the Wipeout (album) page. Let's hope they stay on longer these time. As for how to obtain a copy: 1) There's an ad for it in the right-hand column on PS3SACD.com. 2) How did you make this disc shot if you don't have it yet? Oh, and while on the topic of images and videogames, I would be deeply obliged of you could help me figure out why I can't include the picture from the Italian equivalent of the Philips Odyssey page while exactly the same trick -- borrowing the picture from another language domain (incidentally also Italian) -- does work with the page I made for the Ferrari Modulo. Replaceable fair use Image:Fsol - future music magazine II.jpg

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Fsol - future music magazine II.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Elliot Goldenthal - In Dreams - Appellatron.ogg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

License tagging for File:WipEout pure soundtrack cover.jpg

Thanks for uploading File:WipEout pure soundtrack cover.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.

Tags on Future Sound of London - related articles

Just to let you know, these taggings were not "fly-by", nor are they a prelude to deletion; rather my plan is to merge the articles on songs that do not establish independent notability into other suitable articles with prima facie notability. As no articles appear currently to have reliable sources, this essentially means all articles about songs that did not chart. I do not plan destructive merges; at their new locations, their current content will be fine as far as I am concerned (I have already merged the promo singles The Witchfinder (song) and Divinity (song), which are essentially non-notable until proven otherwise with "significant coverage in reliable sources", per WP:N; see WP:NSONGS). I will go ahead and do the merges after I allow a while for reliable sources to be added to the articles and demonstrate notability. If you have any issues, please feel free to start a dialogue on one of the articles, so that others can contribute (I should see it as the pages I edited are on my watchlist, but feel free to leave a note here or on my talk page). --Rogerb67 (talk) 00:25, 17 March 2009 (UTC)

You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. — neuro(talk)(review) 00:33, 18 March 2009 (UTC)

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Elliot goldenthal composer 87.4kb.jpg.

If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. decltype (talk) 08:48, 30 April 2009 (UTC)

Get on Your Boots

Hey there, I notice that you've recently made a few edits to "Get on Your Boots". As you may (or may not) be aware, the article is currently a Good Article nominee, but there are some problems that are preventing it from being promoted to that class. Since you've done some minor work on the page and seem to enjoy the new album, would you be able to help me in addressing the issues and getting the article promoted? The current review (and list of problems) is here if you'd like to. Cheers, MelicansMatkin (talk) 04:08, 19 June 2009 (UTC)
