Hello![edit]

Hi, Tiara. I'm Amy Wotawa, and it appears that we are partners for Dr. Ogg's Molecular Biology Wiki group project. I live in Tennessee and work as a cytogenetics technologist team lead at a clinical diagnostics laboratory that specializes in hematologic cancers. This is my second semester at JHU. I believe we had a course together last semester as well. I look forward to working with you this semester! Awotawa1 (talk) 05:01, 13 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hey Amy! Yes we did have a course together ! Last semester I lived in Columbia, MO but i recently moved back to my hometown (St.Louis,MO) to work for the USDA. I hope you're excited to get started on this project !

My husband is from St. Louis. I've only been there once. I'm from AL, and we've been in TN for almost 4 years now. I am eager to choose an article, but I need a lot more practice with communicating on Wiki. There are a lot of special characters to learn! Awotawa1 (talk) 04:06, 14 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

My first Wiki assignment[edit]

I just wanted to let you know that this project is my first experience with working within Wikipedia. I've never contributed or edited in Wiki before. This is an interesting assignment and is sure to help us become more valuable contributors to the scientific community. Have you done any of this in Wiki before? Help us improve the Wikipedia Education Program[edit]

Hi Tbrownc1! As a student editor on Wikipedia, you have a lot of valuable experience about what it's like to edit as a part of a classroom assignment. In order to help other students like you enjoy editing while contributing positively to Wikipedia, it's extremely helpful to hear from real student editors about their challenges, successes, and support needs. Please take a few minutes to answer these questions by clicking below. (Note that the responses are posted to a public wiki page.) Thanks!
