ようこそ You don't need to read anything - anybody can edit; just go to an article and edit it. Be Bold, but please don't put silly stuff in - it will be removed very quickly, and will annoy people. Ask for help. Talk to us live, or edit this page, put {{helpme}} and describe what help you need. Someone will reply very quickly - usually within a few minutes. Play in your user area. For example, create User:TMVMayor/test. Edit existing articles, before you make your own. Look at some subjects that you know about, and see if you can make them a bit better. MLB Village

I was surprised when they changed my caps to lower case, then noticed Fl. Today (and most other papers) doing the same. Thought everyone had gone to it. Student7 (talk) 00:24, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

Tree size itself may not be that critical. It's just that insiders may find it easy to state information which may (or may not be!) supported by printed or web references. There should really be a reference for every paragraph in the article. Local documents usually okay except when they involve superlatives. "best" "largest" 'most popular", that sort of thing. Those need outside citations. Florida Today copyedited article (not one submitted by readers or the Village!  :). Student7 (talk) 21:57, 11 March 2010 (UTC)
