May 2011[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Pooja Gaur has been reverted.
Your edit here to Pooja Gaur was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove links which are discouraged per our external links guideline. The external link(s) you added or changed (https://www.facebook.com/pooh.gaur.gor) is/are on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia.
If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. However, if the link does not comply with our policies and guidelines, but your edit included other, constructive, changes to the article, feel free to make those changes again without re-adding the link. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! --XLinkBot (talk) 12:31, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please refrain from making unconstructive edits to Wikipedia, as you did at Pooja Gaur with this edit. Your edits appear to constitute vandalism and have been reverted or removed. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox. Thank you. Mr. Stradivarius 12:39, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop your disruptive editing. If you continue to vandalize Wikipedia, as you did at Pooja Gaur with this edit, you may be blocked from editing. Mr. Stradivarius 12:50, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there, and thanks for contributing to the Pooja Gaur article! There were reasons that I reverted your edit - her age, and the Facebook link. As far as I can tell, there are no sources for her age, and another website I saw lists her age as "not disclosed". According to WP:V we need to be able to verify every statement we write on Wikipedia that might be challenged, so I'll remove this information until we can find a proper source. As for the facebook link, it could be seen as violating Pooja Gaur's privacy. A link to her public home page is acceptable in the external links section, but linking to her private profile is definitely a no-no. If you have any questions, please ask me on my talk page. All the best. Mr. Stradivarius 13:08, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

May 2011[edit]

You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Pooja Gaur. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.

In particular, the three-revert rule states that:

  1. Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
  2. Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.

If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Mr. Stradivarius 14:46, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hello. In case you didn't know, when you add content to talk pages and Wikipedia pages that have open discussion, you should sign your posts by typing four tildes ( ~~~~ ) at the end of your comment. You could also click on the signature button located above the edit window. This will automatically insert a signature with your username or IP address and the time you posted the comment. This information is useful because other editors will be able to tell who said what, and when. Thank you. Mr. Stradivarius 15:34, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again, this is to let you know that there's a discussion involving you over at Wikipedia:Biographies of living persons/Noticeboard#Pooja Gaur. All the best. Mr. Stradivarius 16:03, 15 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Lucky Escape[edit]

Because its over 24 hours from the report and your haven't edited and are new, you escape a block this time, but if you resume edit warring/reverting you get blocked immediately. Clear? Spartaz Humbug! 15:18, 18 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
