Hello,
Information was inaccurate. I work on behalf of Warren Easton Charter High School in New Orleans. Oswald did not attend this particular WECHS in New Orleans. Oswald attended a different WECHS that was not this one. This was made under the authority of the CEO and Principal of the school. I assure you, this is not a copyright violation. Sydniejulien (talk) 20:17, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Please clarify what you mean by "work on behalf of Warren Easton Charter High School". Do you work for the school or school board of school? Are you a volunteer? Have you been paid by some other group to make the edits? Are you unpaid but making the edits at someone's request? Meters (talk) 23:34, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Specifically, I handle some of the internal and external communication. The chairmen of the board and CEO wanted an accurate page, and saw the error. It was then brought to my attention. This is my first time editing on Wikipedia, and I assure I was not trying to disregarded your editing guidelines, I simply thought it was an error was causing it to be reverted back to the original version. Apologies. I was not fully knowledgeable on the guidelines before editing. Sydniejulien (talk) 23:43, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Are you an employee or a volunteer? Meters (talk) 23:48, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

It's not just promotional. It is also a copyright violation. You cannot simply copy material from the school's web site Meters (talk) 19:59, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

And for the issue of the attendance of Lee Harvey Oswald, we have two reliable sources that state that he attended. For Wikipedia purposes an alumnus is anyone who attended, no matter how short the period. The person does not have to have graduated. Meters (talk) 20:08, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Your recent editing history at Warren Easton Charter High School shows that you are currently engaged in an edit war; that means that you are repeatedly changing content back to how you think it should be, when you have seen that other editors disagree. To resolve the content dispute, please do not revert or change the edits of others when you are reverted. Instead of reverting, please use the talk page to work toward making a version that represents consensus among editors. The best practice at this stage is to discuss, not edit-war. See the bold, revert, discuss cycle for how this is done. If discussions reach an impasse, you can then post a request for help at a relevant noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases, you may wish to request temporary page protection.

Being involved in an edit war can result in you being blocked from editing—especially if you violate the three-revert rule, which states that an editor must not perform more than three reverts on a single page within a 24-hour period. Undoing another editor's work—whether in whole or in part, whether involving the same or different material each time—counts as a revert. Also keep in mind that while violating the three-revert rule often leads to a block, you can still be blocked for edit warring—even if you do not violate the three-revert rule—should your behavior indicate that you intend to continue reverting repeatedly.
We have two reliable sources that state that he attended Warren Easton High School, in New Orleans. Discuss this on talk, or leave it alone. And the copyright pertains to the promotional material that you have copied from the school's web page. Meters (talk) 22:57, 2 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
