Mediation

Howdy. There's a standard pop culture section in string theory, which is written in bullets, like uncertainty principle. These things are useful and interesting, and there is no uniform policy that says they should be deleted. I don't like deleting information with no reason. I have nothing further to say that isn't said on the talk page.Likebox (talk) 13:03, 22 June 2009 (UTC)
Yes, I noticed that someone deleted it, probably for similar reasons. There might have been a phase transition in policy towards this sort of stuff, since other language wikis don't generally have them. If you believe in these tidbits, then maybe we can restore the uncertainty principle ones.Likebox (talk) 02:28, 23 June 2009 (UTC)
I restored the uncertainty principle pop culture section. Some of it is not fully sourced, and some bullets are less informative than others, as always.Likebox (talk) 18:57, 23 June 2009 (UTC)

Relativistic speed

I put in a blurb to show how you get a rough estimate for when speeds turn relativistic. It's always v/c squared that tells you the error. That's interesting, because in some theories which are not relativity but incorporate a finite light speed, there are nonzero v/c corrections.Likebox (talk) 16:44, 30 June 2009 (UTC)
