Unreferenced BLPs[edit]

Hello Saj2009! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 1 of the articles that you created is tagged as an Unreferenced Biography of a Living Person. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring this article up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 941 article backlog. Once the article is adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the article:

  1. Sharreth - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs· FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Good work[edit]

The Working Man's Barnstar
In appreciation of the tireless work to improve the articles Mohanlal filmography, Mohanlal and List of awards and nominations received by Mohanlal. Keep up the good work--Anoopkn (talk) 11:56, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

You are welcome, man. Actually I tried a hand at tabulating the flmography, but found it too difficult. How did u do that? Used some tools? Anyway, thanks for the work. Btw, u seem to upload too many unlicensed photos. Pls refrain from it, it won't help the articles in the long run. Take care. Happy editing!--Anoopkn (talk) 15:33, 26 January 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Move of Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit[edit]

The move of this page needs to be discussed. The name of the university on top of the website says Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit while at the bottom of the page near the copyright notice it says Sree Sankara University of Sanskrit. An admission notification of 2009 says Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit (http://ssus.ac.in/uploaded_files/download/download_22.pdf) So I feel that the name of the university should be Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit. Hii[edit]

Hi Saj, I have noticed that you often edit without an edit summary. Please do your best to always fill in the summary field. This is considered an important guideline in Wikipedia. Even a short summary is better than no summary. An edit summary is even more important if you delete any text; otherwise, people may think you're being sneaky. Also, mentioning one change but not another one can be misleading to someone who finds the other one more important; add "and misc." to cover the other change(s). Thanks! Arjuncodename024 12:18, 4 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Edit warring[edit]

You are continuing to reintroduce edits that have been unanimously rejected by others. Please discuss on the articles' discussion pages if you have issues with the reversions. Continued reintroduction of said edit will result in you being restricted from editing, plain and simple. Regards, –MuZemike 05:37, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Titles[edit]

We've been over this again and again. I know you're quite capable of responding, you've done so before on others' talk pages, and on article talk pages. You've been told your edits violate WP:HONORIFIC. They are not to be used unless there is significant sourcing for the title outside the country given. That is the rule regarding titles, so what is so difficult to understand about it? Respond, please, and address the concerns that I, along with several others have with your editing, instead of blanking unilaterally. Refusing to explain yourself is disruptive, as is slow-edit warring as you have been doing so. Keep it up, and I'm reporting you to the edit war noticeboard.— dαlus Contribs 05:39, 5 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced box-office information[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. Everyone is welcome to contribute to the encyclopedia, but when you add or change content, as you did to the article Shikkar, please cite a reliable source for the content of your edit. This helps maintain our policy of verifiability. Take a look at Wikipedia:Citing sources for information about how to cite sources and the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Box office numbers and "verdicts" are especially important to back up with reliable sources in Indian film articles because such content has proven extremely vulnerable to tampering and vandalism. Buttressing the information with references allows us to fact-check the info when someone comes along and alters it. AtticusX (talk) 17:44, 24 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

On a separate note, please understand that adding "Dr." in front of artists' names is in direct conflict with Wikipedia's policy regarding the use of honorific prefixes. Even in cases where the subject has earned a PhD, such as Isaac Asimov, Wikipedia policy is: DON'T ADD "DR." TO THEIR NAME. I see that you have been warned about this policy before. Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Asian 10,000 Challenge invite[edit]

Hi. The Wikipedia:WikiProject Asia/The 10,000 Challenge has recently started, based on the UK/Ireland Wikipedia:The 10,000 Challenge and Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The 10,000 Challenge. The idea is not to record every minor edit, but to create a momentum to motivate editors to produce good content improvements and creations and inspire people to work on more countries than they might otherwise work on. There's also the possibility of establishing smaller country or regional challenges for places like South East Asia, Japan/China or India etc, much like Wikipedia:The 1000 Challenge (Nordic). For this to really work we need diversity and exciting content and editors from a broad range of countries regularly contributing. At some stage we hope to run some contests to benefit Asian content, a destubathon perhaps, aimed at reducing the stub count would be a good place to start, based on the current Wikipedia:WikiProject Africa/The Africa Destubathon which has produced near 200 articles in just three days. If you would like to see this happening for Asia, and see potential in this attracting more interest and editors for the country/countries you work on please sign up and being contributing to the challenge! This is a way we can target every country of Asia, and steadily vastly improve the encyclopedia. We need numbers to make this work so consider signing up as a participant! Thank you. --Ser Amantio di NicolaoChe dicono a Signa?Lo dicono a Signa. 02:30, 21 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
