Information icon Welcome to Wikipedia. I have noticed that some of your recent genre changes, such as the one you made to Dance-pop, have conflicted with our neutral point of view and verifiability policies. While we invite all users to contribute constructively to Wikipedia, we urge all editors to provide reliable sources for edits made. When others disagree, we recommend you seek consensus for certain edits by discussing the matter on the article's talk page. Genre changes to suit your own point of view are considered disruptive. Hi. Thank you for your recent edits. Wikipedia appreciates your help. We noticed though that when you edited Electric blues, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Amplification (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

Gipsy Kings edits[edit]

Hi Saiyuki4ever, you recently made some edits to the Gipsy Kings page, and I had to revert them. The changes you made were generally of low quality, including poor grammatical usage, etc. I'm curious to know, why did you remove the image in the infobox? Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 23:20, 20 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Hello Saiyuki4ever, did you miss my previous message? Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 00:49, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Sincerely I don't remember I removed the image in the infobox, but my intentions were only to correct this page, as well as I did for all pages I edit in the English Wikipedia..... I rather wonder the fact you reverted the page in question, because it contains some wrong informations, such as that Gipsy Kings make pop or even rock music..... P.S.: I've read the page just now, so I know what I'm saying 😉..... Saiyuki4ever (talk) 01:32, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The problem with the genres on that page is that none of them is properly sourced. My suggestion would be that if you want to change that parameter of the infobox and other areas of the article, it's best to do so with proper references, otherwise you might as well just leave the article as it is. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 01:50, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Well, I think that all is in the public domain would not be sourced, because it could bring to a hypersourced page 🤔..... However, I didn't want to offend you or make you angry 😊☺️..... Saiyuki4ever (talk) 02:09, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not sure what you mean by "hypersourced" and don't worry, Wikipedia isn't the place to get offended or angry, nor to guard the feelings of other editors. Besides, I don't own the article, nobody does. If you feel like it should be edited, then go ahead, but as I mentioned before, edits should be referenced, so I wouldn't remove any genres from the infobox unless you can cite a source that talks about what genres the band plays. Revirvlkodlaku (talk) 02:26, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, I'll remember that, thank you also for the patience and I wish us a good surfing on Wikipedia 😊☺️😁😎..... Saiyuki4ever (talk) 19:35, 16 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

MOS issues[edit]

I wanted to let you know that I reverted your edit on Donna Summers because it violated the MOS in several points. It added bold text in a number of places, but MOS:BOLD says that bold should be used only in a very limited number of cases other than as the subject of the first sentence of the lead. Your edit also added links to a number of well-known countries and cities, which is not in accordance with MOS:OL. I saw that you made a similar change the previous day, which I also reverted. Please don't make similar edits again without reading the appropriate sections in the MOS. Thanks! CodeTalker (talk) 14:45, 11 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Punctuation beore references[edit]

Hi there, please have a look at the the edit summary of my edit. Cheers. - DVdm (talk) 09:49, 3 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]

I think my edit is better, because there isn't a full stop at the end of the sentence before my editing and outside the reference 🤔... Saiyuki4ever (talk) 08:24, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Did you have a look at what I said in my edit summary? Your edit is not better. See Wikipedia's manual of style (wp:MOS) in section MOS:PUNCREF: "Refs are placed after adjacent punctuation, not before".
There was a period missing between "...monograph on Leibniz" and "Wundt shaped...". You inserted a period after the ref, but the ref should be after the period. - DVdm (talk) 10:03, 4 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
