This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a search with the contents of List of characters in the Camp Half-Blood series, and it appears to be very similar to another Wikipedia page: List of Percy Jackson & the Olympians characters. It is possible that you have accidentally duplicated contents, or made an error while creating the page— you might want to look at the pages and see if that is the case. If you are intentionally trying to rename an article, please see Help:Moving a page for instructions on how to do this without copying and pasting. If you are trying to move or copy content from one article to a different one, please see Wikipedia:Copying within Wikipedia and be sure you have acknowledged the duplication of material in an edit summary to preserve attribution history.

It is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article. CorenSearchBot (talk) 04:09, 3 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

3RR[edit]

You are at risk of violating WP:3RR at Chaos War, with two other editors independently objecting to your wholesale reversion of an article whose current edit was the result of long discussion on its talk page. I encourage you to use the talk page rather than continue what appears to be an edit war. --Tenebrae (talk) 02:16, 11 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

FYI[edit]

Hi, and thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. It appears that you recently tried to give List of Percy Jackson & the Olympians characters a different title by copying its content and pasting either the same content, or an edited version of it, into another page with a different name. This is known as a "cut and paste move", and it is undesirable because it splits the page history, which is needed for attribution and various other purposes. Instead, the software used by Wikipedia has a feature that allows pages to be moved to a new title together with their edit history. In most cases, once your account is four days old and has ten edits, you should be able to move an article yourself using the "Move" tab at the top of the page. This both preserves the page history intact and automatically creates a redirect from the old title to the new. If you cannot perform a particular page move yourself this way (e.g. because a page already exists at the target title), please follow the instructions at requested moves to have it moved by someone else. Also, if there are any other pages that you moved by copying and pasting, even if it was a long time ago, please list them at Wikipedia:Cut and paste move repair holding pen. Thank you. Thanks for writting those summaries, it really improved the article.--WikiEditor44 (talk) 23:06, 19 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I strongly do support your efforts to improve Wikipedia, but, seriously, Dave A, and Tenebrae, they've known each other far too long here, and obviously they have become seriously biased in their own editing. It is not fair, and they have no authority at all to decide this all by themselves, just because they like their own version. The Chaos War page is truly ruined. They can assure each other that they've done everyone here a great favor by erasing all our edits, but it's just arrogant to force their combined edits over those of others here. I've tried to reason with David civilly, but all he has done is further insult and degrade me, and he has gotten in arguments with many fellow editors here in the past. I do not know what to do now; what do you think should be done? Aidoflight (talk) 18:54, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I do not know exactly who this Asgardian is, but, from what I have learned, while he may have indeed helped edit many articles, it cannot be denied that he made serious errors in judgment at times, though, in truth, I think Dave A himself was at largely responsible for many of their arguments and heated conflicts. However, while his own history here may have been most troubled, I do not particularly care about how many users he tried to fight with every time they made an edit he personally disapproved of, I am concerned about the future of these articles if he is given free rein. As can be seen here, even Tenebrae, who insists that Dave has done a "great job" on Chaos War, once had doubts about him. Is it truly his mental condition, as he has claimed in the past? Or is it just another excuse? Dave needs to grow up and learn maturity, cooperation, and compromise, which is necessary for any community, online or in real-life. He may be well-meaning, but sometimes he seems no better than a spoiled child trying to get his way around everything here, while disregarding the views and wants of others. It really is just beneath me, though, to continue argue with him over this; please, don't get into an open conflict with him, or it will just be a waste of your own time and energy. Just try to ignore him as best as possible and improve Wikipedia however we can through own efforts. Thanks, Aidoflight (talk) 19:18, 23 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Mister Twister[edit]

You have been advised on several occasions that the characters you identify as Bromwell Stikk and T.O. Morrow are not identified by those names in the episode. Absent a reliable source that confirms that the on-screen characters are Stikk and Morrow, identifying them as such is original research. Review the episode for yourself and you'll see that they are not named as you claim. Please stop disrupting the article by inserting unsourced, unverified information. Thank you. Hey, your work on the Age of X article has added a lot of useful information, but it needs references to the specific issues where this information is learned. You'll want to use the <ref>''ComicBookTitle'' #IssueNumber</ref> template as a way to replace the {{Issue|date=February 2011}} tags. The sooner you do this the easier it will be since you'll have an easier time remembering what issue that took place in. (I would do it, but I haven't read any of this storyline.) Spidey104 18:25, 27 February 2011 (UTC)[reply]

PLEASE enter the reference for what issue the information is in when you add the information!! If you can remember the information you add can't you remember where it was from? Spidey104 13:41, 22 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thank you for your contributions to Wikipedia. Before saving your changes to an article, please provide an edit summary, which you forgot to do before saving your recent edit to Skull Island. Please see this regarding my concerns on that section. Briefly I don't see how it's not largely WP:TRIVIA and the contractions need to be removed per WP:TONE. I have asked for other editors' opinions via a post at WP:FILM as well. Doniago (talk) 16:27, 3 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Power Rangers Samurai pages[edit]

Don't forget to use [[Category:Power Rangers Samurai]] at the bottom of the new pages you're making. And also, do not capitalize every word in a section header unless it is a proper noun.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 19:15, 16 March 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Yet we still have to start that category page as well. Rtkat3 (talk) 3:20, 16 March 2011 (UTC)

Fear Itself[edit]

Hi, Rtkat3. Why did you remove this citation information from the Fear Itself article? Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 01:02, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Part of referring to the source, in order to satisfy WP:V, is providing the information that allows people to find the publication in question, so that includes author, publisher, date, etc., even if many editors don't always add that. They even have templates for it here. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 01:27, 13 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi, again. Thanks for clarifying the relevance of the other miniseries' plots. Since they don't necessarily continue into and out of the core miniseries, I've separated them by subsections, and added the full cite info. I do have a couple of questions for clarification, though:
1. You wrote that "Liz Allan and her son...escape on a train." They escape what? The Raft? What were they doing there? Does Liz work there now? Or was she visiting Harry or something? Or did you just mean she was escaping Manhattan?
2. You wrote "They encounter two men where one of them got in between Tiger Shark and a bank vault." What does this mean? Can you clarify? Thanks. :-) Nightscream (talk) 22:01, 6 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hey. I hope you don't mind my asking, but can you add the citation, or publication information for the books you cited? I'd do it myself, but I'm not following all the titles, so I don't have the all the books. You can use the comic cite template that's already in the article, or get it from here. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 03:57, 7 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Hi again. I have a question. In Fear Itself: Black Widow #1, is the cathedral in question Notre Dame? Nightscream (talk) 00:53, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks. I tried to do a Google Image Search on the comic, but found nada. But if you familiar with Notre Dame, or familiarize yourself with it by doing a search on it, and you're certain it's Notre Dame in the book, then maybe you should add it, since I haven't read the book. Nightscream (talk) 00:59, 1 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. A few questions regarding your recent additions:
  • Are you sure the Purifiers believe the Devil is coming? Are you sure it's not the Antichrist?
  • In what way do they "save" people? Killing them? Converting them to Christianity? Recruiting them to fight for their cause? Buying them all homeowner's insurance?
  • In what way does Scarecrow take advantage of the chaos?
  • Also, in what cities or locations do these two stories take place?
  • Lastly, I forgot to ask earlier, who was holding the hostages in Notre Dame?
Thanks! Nightscream (talk) 02:27, 7 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rtkat3, I want to commend you and thank you for collaborating with me on the Fear Itself article. I really appreciate your additions of much of the tie-in material, and for answering my questions. So I hope you don't take it wrong when I strongly suggest that you not add any material that is not necessary for a reader's understanding of the story.

What we have to do is envision how someone who doesn't know anything about comics or this story in particular will react if they read the article. Anything that does not assist in the function of summarizing for them the story should not be in the article. Since the Synopsis section is already so long, and bound to get longer as the full crossover runs it course, we really have to think about including only the absolutely more vital info. Specifically:

  • Telling the reader what object Kuurth uses to brainwash the citizens really doesn't matter. It's a given, if they make it down that far i the article, that these beings have mystical or magical abilities.
  • Mentioning that Namor tells Emma Frost that he's going to confront Nerkodd is unnecessary. Again, ask yourself this: If you remove that passage, will it impede a reader's understanding of that book's plot? Obviously not. Therefore, it doesn't belong there, unless it has some relevance to the plot.
  • Similarly, no relevance to the story is given for Colossus visiting Magick. Just because something occurs in the issue doesn't mean that necessarily ties into "Fear Itself", or needs to be mentioned, unless not doing so will make things unclear to the reader.

Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 15:40, 13 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding Ghost rider, can you tell me where this was "stated"?
Also, in regards to your 12 April 2011 message, yes, we only have to add the issue, but if we have the full info, we should include it. A full citation looks better than a partial one, and I'm not reading the entire series. Nightscream (talk) 00:51, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Regarding your edits to the article:
Why do you keep adding such copious amounts of trivia that has nothing to do with the central plot or conflict of the issue, or which has nothing to od with Fear Itself? You mention that Wolverine takes care of Scarecrow, even though that takes only two or three pages, and the bulk of that issue is not Scarecrow, but Wolverine going up against the faction of S.T.R.I.K.E. that hijacked the helicarrier? You say that Songbird tricks Kuurth into a tornado, but make no mention of the resolution of that issue. In your most recent edit, you again added the Alpha Flight stuff about the UNITY party and Spider-Man telling the Avengers he's thinking of leaving, even though those things have nothing to do with "Fear Itself". Just because it's in the issue does not mean that it's directly relevant to the crossover. This plot section is already huge, and we're going to have to summarize it. Would you please stop adding stuff that isn't necessary to a reader's understanding of "Fear Itself"?
The portion of the Infobox you keep adding material do says Main Characters. It does not say, "Every character, team and book being published in the entire crossover." There's a difference between the two. Please keep that in mind.
What is this obsession of yours with the phrase "ends up"?
  • As the civilians controlled by Kyknos have Hercules at bay, he ends up getting unlikely help from Griffin.
  • Cardiac...ends up helping [Charles Davies] when his son comes down with meningitis.
  • the New Avengers ends up fighting the Thule Society
This is superfluous. It's a phrase that implies a summarary of an otherwise long, extended series of events. But it's not necessary to use this phrase if you just want to get to the point:
  • Cardiac helps Charles Davies.
  • The New Avengers fight the Thule Society.
No "ends up" is needed. You're not summarizing a convoluted series of reversals of fortune among myriad different groups with conflicting goals or motives across a 12-volume Britannica-sized epic; you're summarizing the plots of 22-page comic books. Doing so does not require such useless verbiage. Nightscream (talk) 01:41, 17 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rtkat3, please stop adding material to the Fear Itself article that does not help the reader understand the plot. Mentioning that someone is watching a fight on a monitor, as with these edits of yours here and here, are not needed to understand what takes place in the books. We're summarizing what happens by including the most important details only. Nightscream (talk) 01:08, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]

But racing Black Fog to get to Red Hulk first isn't the same thing as "he watches the fight on a monitor", now is it? :-) Nightscream (talk) 17:41, 31 July 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Hi. Regarding your recent additions:
  • You wrote that Pete Wisdom identifies the man in the picture that Melita shows him as Sutton. Where did she get this photograph? Who is he in relation to the story? Is he the guy in the Prometheus that Wolverine found had Kree DNA?
  • When you says that Project Black Box "pushed people to the brink", what do you mean? In what way did it push people to the brink?
  • You mention that while in Dubai, Giant Man is attacked by Greithoth. Which Giant Man is this? Henry Pym? Bill Foster? Or a new, third Giant Man?
  • You say that before collapsing, Giant Man forces Greithoth and Skirn through a portal hoping to buy some time. Time to do what?
Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 03:14, 4 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, if you think that's possible. Nightscream (talk) 04:24, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop removing the out-universe opening line from the Deadpool passage. When writing about fiction, Wikipedia requires us to write about it in as much of an out-universe manner as possible. Because the Deadpool book is so different in tone from the rest of the crossover, it is for that reason that I not only made that note, but placed it at the end of the Synopsis section, to set it apart from the rest. I intend to edit in more out-universe as I continue to pare down the synopsis to remove the detail blot and summarize the basic info. Thanks.

Also, do you understand that when you writing "3,000 people have committed suicide following that global broadcast" doesn't make any sense because readers do not know what broadcast you're talking about? Is it so difficult to read what you write and imagine how it reads for someone who hasn't read the book?

The new Ghost Rider is volume 6, not 7, according to Midtown Comics' website, right here. If you have a source that contradicts this, and is more reliable than MC, then please provide it.

Lastly, sentences cannot begin with the word "yet". You're using it as a conjunction, and conjunctions do not begin sentences. Nightscream (talk) 03:45, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop mutilating my compound sentences into simplistic ones.
Please stop adding material to the article that does not make sense. The passage "Just then, the Avengers Academy is then attacked by Greithoth and Skirn." makes no sense for two reasons: First, the Mansion IS the Academy. "Academy" does not mean "students". Second, there is no "just then", because just then implies a strong time element where there is none. These passages summarize events that presumably take place over the course of hours. Even if two events occur right after the other, saying "just then" is superfluous. We're not re-telling the story, just summarizing it.
Similarly, you cannot mention "that global broadcast" if the reader doesn't know what broadcast you're talking about. I pointed this out above, and you ignored me, refusing to even discuss the matter, as you've mostly been doing on that article. Please stop it.
You've already suffered six past blocks for disruptive editing, so I suggest you stop. The next time you disrupt the article by adding false, or badly written material, or by ignoring my suggestions and my attempts at discussion, you will be blocked from editing. Please do not make that necessary. Let's collaborate on the article, and discuss any points of contention on the article's talk page. Thanks. Nightscream (talk) 22:20, 11 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
The Infinite Avengers mansion is indeed where the students were attacked.
Telling me what the global broadcast is is not the point. The point is that you didn't establish what it was first in the passage, so when the reader sees "that global broadcast", he/she will think, "Huh? What are they talking about?".
I was nominated in November 2007 by another administrator, and after a week of voting by participants, I was made an admin. Nightscream (talk) 21:34, 12 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Now that I've had a chance to look through your addition of Fear Itself' #5:
"Meanwhile, Iron Man has been granted by Odin to use the Asgardian Workshops to make weapons." No he hasn't. The issue never depicts this. It only depicts Stark asking Odin. It never shows Odin's answer. That was in Iron Man #506, but wasn't shown in FI #5.
"The Serpent joins Skadi in the battle and manages to knock down the Avengers with his hammer where him using his hammer to break Captain America's shield levels the surrounding areas and knocks the Avengers unconscious." I'm really amazed not only that you not only think this incoherent run-on sentence actually constitutes a coherent sentence, but in light of your frequent tendency to take relatively simpler compound sentences and break them up into simplistic ones. What exactly does "where him using his hammer" mean? Is this English? And what does his breaking Cap's shield have to do with leveling the surrounding areas? One has nothing to do with the other. He uses the energy from his hammer to level the city. The statement that he uses his hammer to break the shield is also false, since he did that with his bare hands. You got it backwards. I assume that you buy these books, right? Would it be so difficult to have it near you to review it when editing the article, like I do? Why do you want to write for an encyclopedia when you can barely write? Nightscream (talk) 00:21, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

First, you don't have to start a new section with a heading every time you post on my talk page. Sections and headings are to separate discussions. They are not needed for individual posts. I've merged the five Fear Itself sections you created into one section, so you can place your messages there.

I'm not sure what you're taking about with "tie-ins", since I never mentioned anything about tie-ins in my recent messages to you, unless this is some oblique reference to the Iron Man material I brought up. The section in question we're discussion pertains to the synopsis of the core miniseries, and thus, it should only summarize material in that miniseries. Anything not in it or mentioned in it doesn't belong in it. In FI #5, Odin has not granted Iron man the use of his workshops, period.

"Some of the tie-ins were from the previews provided by Comic Book Resources which I start in hopes that anyone who reads them might spice it up more since no one barely starts theirs on the day of the first release." I'm sorry, but I have no idea what you're trying to say here. If you could please restate this in something resembling coherent English, I'd be more than happy to respond to it.

"As for "Fear Itself" #5, there was a full synopsis somewhere like the spoilers." If you read a spoiler somewhere published in some other source, then you should've cited it. You didn't. You instead cited the issue itself, and there is obviously no synopsis or spoiler in Fear Itself #5, since it makes no sense for a comic book to provide a synopsis or spoiler of content that's in that very issue. If you didn't get this material from the book, then why did you cite the book as your source? You do realize that WP:V, WP:CS, et al., requires us to indicate the source from which the material we add to articles is derived, don't you?

The only thing in the issue that could be called a "synopsis" would be the summary that explains to the reader the events in the previous issues, and obviously, there is no mention of Odin giving Stark the use of his workshops. Why would there be, if Stark is asking Odin for this for the very first time in this issue. Again, do you or do you not read these things that you write before you save them? Does any of what you just said really make sense to you? If you read some synopsis or spoiler somewhere, why not cite it in the article? Why not link me to it here? And if you indeed meant the "story so far" summary on page 1, why not have it in front of you when composing these messages, so you don't end up saying such questionable things?

"I was even surprised that the Serpent has his own hammer which was strong enough to break Captain America's shield." One more time: The Serpent broke the shield with his BARE HANDS. He did not use his hammer. Again, if you bought that issue, why not open it up to check this before saying things like this?

"For future references, you might want to start a seperate "Fear Itself" talk backs on my page like I did here." You mean you want me to create a new individual section for each message I leave you? Please clarify. Nightscream (talk) 02:33, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

If you want, I'll make a point of starting new sub-discussions for each "round" of exchange we have, but I'm not putting a new section heading over each individual message I leave on your talk page. That simply isn't what headings are for. They're to separate distinct discussions, not individual messages. You should know this by now. Nightscream (talk) 03:15, 13 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Template:Military ranks[edit]

Hi. I noticed your edit to the template. I assume you did it to avoid the redirect?
I've been ruminating on the thought that, in this situation, Captain (land) or Captain (army) may be less cryptic than Captain (OF-2).
On-the-other-hand, given that the usage is [[Captain (xxxx)|Captain]], it doesn't really matter what the "xxxx" is, so you may as well use OF-2 and avoid the redirect.
What do you think? Cheers, Pdfpdf (talk) 16:06, 15 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Edit summaries[edit]

Hey, just thought I'd point out that it's much more polite to leave edit summaries when changing someone's edits, especially when you've done it multiple times and they've left detailed edit summaries every time and you've left none. You may wish to review the specific guidelines for films, musicals, television episodes, anime/manga, novels and non-fiction books. Excessive detail and high word counts should be avoided. Nighlok bases[edit]

Do not add the visual bases for the Nighloks on Villains in Power Rangers Samurai. Within the coverage of Power Rangers, any sort of linkage to any Japanese boogieman or actual sea creature is original research. Do not add them back again because none of this can be confirmed.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 18:10, 14 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Power Ranger monster lists[edit]

I saw that it was particularly not encyclopedic and got rid of the bolding because it does not make sense to have those particular items bolded in lists. Don't put them back.—Ryūlóng (竜龙) 22:53, 16 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Rtkat3, I reverted your edits to this article because the lists you included could never be complete. That's what the character lists are for. It also makes the both the body of the article and the infobox way too long. As far as the heading you changed is concerned, its GAN reviewers suggested it, so I'm loathe to change it. Eventually, I want to submit the article to FAC; my experience with the process tells me that the reviewers there would agree with me. I'm open to a discussion about it, though. Heads up[edit]

Hello there. Although the "List of Enemies in God of War" page was deleted, please don't take it personally as that was a consensus decision. Just advising I'm going to try my hand at one or two comic articles that fall under the DC Comics banner, and note you have worked on them. Once again, if I make a change it is not personal. Please take a look at {{visible anchor}} and how it works. Your edits are invalidating their use in the article for 0 benefit.

Also keep in mind that the descriptions are supposed to be short and clean. Not full story synopses or peppered with preening prose.

And yes, there's a lot of clean up of your previous edits needed.

Please read the edit summary of my last edit on that article. I never mentioned referencing as a rationale for it. Aside from that, the "unlikely partnership" passage from your subsequent revert was unreferenced. Nightscream (talk) 03:02, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

As far as the Fear Itself article is concerned, I'm going to do some serious trimming of the plots, esp the tie-ins, to just give the basic conflict in nutshells, since the article is already huge. For example, kinda like how I did with the Wolverine and Deadpool sections, and I'm not going to include a lot of detail from the final issues of each story, if the details in question amount to nothing more than a generic "....but the hero defeats the villain". If you really want to add more, I would suggest, in the spirit of collaboration, that you only add material that is really salient or seminal, either with the respect the characters or the overall storyline. For example, if Johnny Blaze becomes Ghost Rider again, I think that would be relevant to mention. Nightscream (talk) 06:24, 8 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Transformers: Prime[edit]

Hi, I've seen your previous edits on Transformers: Prime. I don't know if the article needs a cast or crew section. Couldn't the cast be merged into the characters and locations section and the crew into the production section, like previously? I am asking this because articles that really stand out such as My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and Young Justice (TV series) do not have additional sections for cast and crew. Many articles do have these sections but characters and cast can probably be merged. WikiEditor44 (talk) 16:54, 18 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Okay but the characters and locations section seems very blank, it only has two sentences worked into it. --WikiEditor44 (talk) 21:10, 19 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Wording in Fear Itself[edit]

Rtkat3, I don't know where you get your ideas on writing or language from, but your choices in your last edit are poor.

  • Parentheticals, for example, should not be arbitrary. If a clause that modifies a direct object can appropriately end a sentence, there is no reason to put it in parenthesis, in lieu of simply a comma between it and the sentence fragment before it.
  • Commas are to be placed in places where there is a natural pause in speech. There is indeed such a pause after the word "Odinsword" in the sentence "Odin prepares Thor by giving him the armor and helmet that he himself wore the last time he cast out the Serpent and slaughtered the billions stained by his sickness, as well as the Odinsword, named Ragnarok, which was forged to end all things." Omitting it indicates that there is no inflection or pause, which is false.
  • When needing to use multiple prepositional modifiers in the same sentence, it is best not to repeat them. For this reason, structuring the sentence about the boiling uru as I did was dead-on appropriate. Changing it so that the sentences now uses the word "which" twice, as in "The weapons are thrown into a vat of boiling uru which Iron Man himself leaps into which will receive Odin's enchantments." is just plain sloppy writing, and I really don't know where you get the preposterous idea that it is somehow better than what was already in the passage. It's not, and since this is not the first time you've displayed poor writing and compositional skills, I'd suggest that you stay away from modifying the wording of others, unless you can improve your language skills. Nightscream (talk) 01:18, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
In regards to which edits? I haven't made any substantial edits to the tie-in material recently. Nightscream (talk) 02:27, 22 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I'd rather not. I think I'm just going to summarize the basic conflict to make the already-bloated section smaller rather than larger. The only title I read regularly is Iron Man. I looked through the others to correct, summarize or copyedit your work on them. Nightscream (talk) 00:54, 23 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Can you explain these passages:

  • "There fight ends up invoking an earthquake underneath Las Vegas." Their fight invokes an earthquake? What does this mean? What exactly do you think the word "invoke" means?
  • "The vampire's only hope to stop Nul lie within the mysterious Raizo Kodo and his legion of vampires called "The Forgiven" whom are imprisoned in the dungeons of Dracula's castle." If you're talking about a group of vampires--that is, the plural of vampires, then there is no apostrophe in the word. It's just vampires. There is also no reason to use the word "whom". The phrase is "'The Forgiven' who are imprisoned in the dungeons..."
  • Why did you de-link Wolverine's name?
  • Also, "their" is not spelled "there" (Youth in Revolt), "its", as a possessive, is not spelled "it's", and "themselves" is not spelled "themslves" (Fearsome Four). Can't you proofread your edits, or use spellcheck?
  • As for informing me of the plot of Iron Man, hey, thanks for spoiling it for me. :-) Nightscream (talk) 05:51, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, I forgot about that. I hate it when I forget the plot of a previous month's issue. Nightscream (talk) 16:15, 24 September 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Regarding your recent AfD nominations[edit]

I noticed that you replaced the PROD tags of Puppeteer (comics), Javelin (DC Comics), Shark (comics)‎ and Bolphunga with AfD tags, but you have not completed the AfD process. 2¢, maybe a bit more.
Rtkat3, I've removed the AfDs these 4 articles. If you cannot or will not follow through on completing the AfD process, then do not use the template. If you feel a PROD should instead be a deletion discussion, just remove the PROD template and state in your edit summary that you believe such a deletion should be discussed first. This is the second time it has been pointed out to you that you are misusing the AfD template.
Jfgslo, I've removed the AfD templates from these 4 and view this as essentially a dispute of deletion without discussion, which is exactly what PROD is.

Batman 1966 shoe and characters[edit]

A few things:

  • The character are not the character from the comics. Right now the links at Batman (TV series) point to where the characters from the show are expanded on. Pointing to the articles on the comic book characters makes very little sense.
  • Links to the comic book characters in List of Batman television series characters alows reasonable transition from A to B to C, even if C is in another list.
  • Editing to add trivial or "to personal taste" material to the list entries doe not help the list.
  • The bat-climb list - for the most part, the lists associated with the show on Wikipedia are in alphabetic order, not in order of appearance. There is no good reason for this section to buck that.
  • The "Henchmen" section is essentially non-notable bit parts. As such it is questionable to keep it, more so to expand it.
  • Also with in that section and related to the "Description":
    • They are at best one-liners.
    • If based on the plot of the episode, they are written in the "ever present 'now'" used for writing about works of fiction.
    • Relationships between the character isn't needed.
    • "Parody of..." need to be sourced to something other than "It has to be, I can see it." Yes, this means that the Robin Hood parallels with the Archer and gang should go as well. And Batman (TV series)#Parodies in the series
  • Please provide edit summaries with you changes to explain them.
  • Please also try not to cram multiple types of changes in one edit.

You also got rid of his attempt to cast Alec Baldwin (one of his many targets) in the cast of that TV show here.

The reason I bring this up is because this vandal is so prolific and determined that a page has been created to keep track of the many IPs he is known to have used: please see User:Doc9871/Voice Cast Vandal. If you are aware of any other IPs similar to these please feel free to add to the page. I'm extremely familiar with this editor's M.O., so in the unlikely event that an IP is misidentified I would correct it. Cheers, and Happy Editing! Doc talk 00:07, 10 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

ThunderCats-related[edit]

I have seen ThunderCats Wiki. I would like ThunderCats. Tlsonic214 (talkcontribs) 01:37pm, November 15 2011 (UTC)

Disambiguation link notification[edit]

Hi, this message is to let you know about disambiguation links you've recently created. A link to a disambiguation page is almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. For more information, see the FAQ or drop a line at the DPL WikiProject.

X-Men: The Official Game (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver)
was linked to Katherine Morgan

Any suggestions for improving this automated tool are welcome. Thanks, DPL bot (talk) 13:18, 16 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

The article Kamen Rider World has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

A search for reliable, secondary sources reveals an insufficient amount of significant coverage. This article fails Wikipedia's notability guidelines for films.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. THE Amazing[edit]

Please remember that The Amazing Spider-Man is the full/proper title for that comic book series and don't remove "The" in the future. Thanks. Spidey 104 21:18, 29 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Comic book articles, plot, and trivia[edit]

Please take another look at WP:PLOT and WP:CMOS at what is the acceptable level of plot to add to articles. What you added to T. O. Morrow is unneded and unacceptable.

Also... The henchmen sections you added to Joker (comics), Catwoman, and Penguin (comics) are non-notable trivia. These types of sections have no reason to be in a Wikipedia article, full stop.

Please, exercise restraint when adding plot sections or details to articles. And refrain from adding trivia.

Thanks,

- J Greb (talk) 00:19, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Please do not add unsourced material to articles, as you did with these edits to Chemo (comics), in particular the action figure material. In addition, please compose your material in the form of coherent sentences. Thank you. Nightscream (talk) 00:51, 7 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

No, just a succinctly summary of his having appeared in those media is sufficient. Some details like who voiced him, maybe maybe changes from the source material, etc, are okay, but detailed synopses of plots is overkill. Nightscream (talk) 8:42, 7 December 2011 (UTC)

Editing other editors posts.[edit]

Frankly there are very, very limited cases where it is acceptable to edit another editor's post.

There was no reason for you to touch my post to Nightscream. I'm sorry if you didn't like how I formatted it, but that means you live with it, not change it.

Re: Young Justice episodes[edit]

I am sorry, but you cannot include information about Secret or identify Harm as being the characters from the normal DCU without specifically and explicitly citing them via reliable secondary sources. Your observations and subsequent synthetic connecting of them cannot be used in the article. I've reverted it, and request that, should you wish to discuss the matter, you should initiate discussion on the article talk page. - Jack Sebastian (talk) 21:12, 13 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]

TV series article layout[edit]

Episode tables are part of the broadcast history of a TV series and should be in the "broadcast" section, not sandwiched between the "production" and "cast" sections, as you've done twice to Terra Nova (TV series) now.[1][2] According to MOS:TV, the cast section immediately follows the production section. It makes it impossible to understand your reasoning behind putting this section out of place when you don't use edit summaries. Could you please start using them? --AussieLegend (talk) 05:54, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
