Personal pages[edit]

Hi. I've noticed you've put a few personal articles in your user space such as here and here. Now, you should be aware that such pages are a violation of (mainly) Wikipdia's policy on personal webpages as well as guildlines on user pages. Now, I don't want to be a kill joy personally but you should be aware that such pages are most likely candidates for miscellany for deletion. Perhaps you'd like to address the issue yourself. Dating[edit]

Just a little protip here; the dating system used in Wikipedia allows for any input of standard dating (such as the European D M Y [12 November 2008] versus the American M D, Y [November 12, 2008]) and it will output in whatever your preference is set to display. If the code is written as 12 November 2008, it is not necessary to always change it to November 12, 2008. --Jacob Talk 17:22, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Do you think every date in the entire page needs to use the start date? I would say only in the infoboxes, and tables.--Jacob Talk 22:26, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

4:13 Dream[edit]

The wikilinking of dates is deprecated, so they should be unlinked as per MOS:SYL. Also WP:DATES#Dates states that the date format in the article should be consistent: "Dates in article body text should all have the same format." They weren't, so I've changed them to be consistent and, as is usual for non-American articles, I've used the British date format. Being consistent with other articles related to The Cure isn't necessary, especially when date formats aren't used consistently across such articles. Please stop reverting to inconsistent formats and to deprecated wikilinking. I will consider any such further reverting to vandalism and this may result in your account being blocked. --JD554 (talk) 14:04, 6 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I'm curious as to how you're defining "best articles". If you look at Category:FA-Class Album articles (which is how the best album articles should be defined) you'll see that there are currently 46 of them. Of those 46 albums there are 12 that are by non-North American singers/bands—that includes one by The Cure (Disintegration). All 12 of those articles use day month year as the date format and that includes the use of the Start date template in the infobox as you can use the df=yes parameter to put the day first. So please stop changing the dates from day month year to month day year. --JD554 (talk) 06:41, 7 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The "Empact"[edit]

Hey, I've commented at Talk:Eminem's sixth studio album#Empack/Empact.; the sources in question are ultimately insufficient to justify the addition of that information, especially since the two people couldn't even agree on the spelling. There is no hurry to have the info added, wait until it's been officially confirmed. GlassCobra 09:56, 8 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Cut & paste move of Saw: The Videogame[edit]

I noted you did a cut & paste move. Doing this violates the GFDL and Wikipedia policy. If you believe a page move is justified, please follow the instructions at wikipedia:requested moves. Thanks. --Rogerb67 (talk) 01:58, 26 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Sputnikmusic[edit]

As there are now 10 reviews on 4:13 Dream I won't re-add the staff review from Sputnikmusic. But if you look at WP:ALBUM#Review_sites you'll see that staff reviews are allowed. Please make yourself aware of guidelines that have been in place for a long time before making such statements as "Sputnikmusic is not professional. Stop adding it." Thanks, --JD554 (talk) 16:01, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

As you are aware of the guideline then you should have WP:AGF and followed the link to see. Yes, other Sputnikmusic reviews do get removed when they are not staff reviews, but staff reviews are allowed. Please be more careful in future. --JD554 (talk) 17:09, 30 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Relapse[edit]

I don't know which paragraph your looking at, but the paragraph under the one you deleted is not better than the one you deleted. Plus, Dr. Dre and DJ Premier rap and produce, so they deserve to be on there as well. HairyPerry 18:39, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Ok, thanks for the explanation, but some people have the same views as me, so watch out it might get changed again, just a heads up, thanks, HairyPerry 18:49, 11 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Seriously dude, everytime I throw out a suggestion you don't have to get a smart ass attitude, it is just a suggestion. I try to be civil then people like you ruin it for people and you are really starting to get on my nerves. So, why don't you be more cool, calm, and collected towards things before you make another smart ass remark. HairyPerry 14:16, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I don't recall calling you any names, I called your attitude smart assed sure did. Just because you didn't roll with my suggestion thats not why I'm mad you've been making smart ass remarks since the day that I saw you on here when Apawk was harrasing you on the Relapse Talk Page, you've been nothing but rude to me even though I try to be the best editor I can be, but you on the other hand want to make it hard for people when all I want to is make a suggestion if it gets turned down thats fine, but if it doesn't then thats cool too. But when somebody says "Or we could just leave it like it is" or something to that extent then thats what gets on my nerves. HairyPerry 15:26, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your a smartass person in nature, but I've had really rough morning and i don't think you would care if you had offended a thousand people cause you only care about yourself and back on the Relapse talk page, Apawk said "Rtiztik go take a bath in shit" because I went after him for saying that and eventually got him blocked as a sock puppet and puppeteer. So yes he did, but I'm going to stop right there cause I have much more to say but I will not because this is not the time nor place for it. HairyPerry 16:02, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

[1] Yeah he wasn't talking about you was he? Scroll all the way down to the last comment and it was made by Apawk directed at you. HairyPerry 16:28, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your right dude, my bad i don't know you, but the way I read it it sounded like a smart ass remark, its my fault man i haven't met any real dicks on here yet but i'm sure I will. My bad for the inconvinience. Later, HairyPerry 18:20, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Yeah man definetly no hard feelings, I just had a really rough morning and then got on here, man I regret getting on here this morning, I should have just cooled off and then got on. I knew that I was going to read something the wrong way it is all totally my fault, you did everything right, its my bad that I said all that, btw it sounds like I'm the one who is smart assed nature not you. Hey would you mind if I added you to Users I'm Cool With on my user page? HairyPerry 19:59, 18 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Capitilization[edit]

[2] Why did you make this edit? Hip Hop needs to be capitilized. Thanks, HairyPerry 18:33, 14 November 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Image copyright problem with File:Image-IllBillTheEarlyYears.jpg[edit]

Thanks for uploading File:Image-IllBillTheEarlyYears.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

 • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
 • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

The Punisher - Punisher:Frank Castle[edit]

Even when a comic has a name change, the issues that already came out do not change title. The artwork used in the punisher article is from "Punisher 31" - it cannot be from Punisher:Frank Castle 31 because such a comic does not exist. Only issues and artwork going forward correspond to that title. --Cameron Scott (talk) 11:29, 18 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Disputed fair use rationale for File:Punisher-The end.jpg}[edit]

Thank you for uploading File:Punisher-The end.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale provided for using this image under "fair use" may not meet the criteria required by Wikipedia:Non-free content. This can be corrected by going to the image description page and add or clarify the reason why the image qualifies for fair use. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check:

 • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's escription page for each article the image is used in.
 • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

Please be aware that a fair use rationale is not the same as an image copyright tag; descriptions for images used under the fair use policy require both a copyright tag and a fair use rationale.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it might be deleted by adminstrator within a few days in accordance with our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions, please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you. NOTE: once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. Proposed deletion of Criminal Intents / Morning Star: Double Feature EP[edit]

A proposed deletion template has been added to the article Criminal Intents / Morning Star: Double Feature EP, suggesting that it be deleted according to the proposed deletion process because of the following concern:

Non-notable unreleased album with little or no media coverage of substance. Fails WP:NALBUMS.

All contributions are appreciated, but this article may not satisfy Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion, and the deletion notice should explain why (see also "What Wikipedia is not" and Wikipedia's deletion policy). You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the dated prod notice, but please explain why you disagree with the proposed deletion in your edit summary or on its talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised because, even though removing the deletion notice will prevent deletion through the proposed deletion process, the article may still be deleted if it matches any of the speedy deletion criteria or it can be sent to Articles for Deletion, where it may be deleted if consensus to delete is reached. Replaceable fair use Image:Sonsofbutcher.jpg[edit]

Replaceable fair use
Replaceable fair use

Thanks for uploading Image:Sonsofbutcher.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

 1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add , without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
 2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. File Copyright problem
File Copyright problem

Thanks for uploading File:Sonsofbutcher.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, their copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 10:27, 29 May 2009 (UTC). Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.
