Antiguan racer

Hello, Rothorpe – I made a few copy-edits to Antiguan racer yesterday, then added it to my watchlist. Today, I see this edit. I had always known "underway" (adverb) to be written as one word, but I looked it up in Wiktionary and, while there is an entry for "underway" (noun, adverb), "under way" is given as an alternative spelling. Since this article is about Antigua, which is independent but part of the British Commonwealth, I wondered whether "under way" is British – and thus probably also Antiguan – spelling. Any ideas?  – Corinne (talk) 17:42, 7 September 2017 (UTC)

I'd been thinking about the spelling recently too, and preferring the one-word version. Certainly, both forms are seen in BrE. Rothorpe (talk) 19:50, 7 September 2017 (UTC)
Just saw this today. I suppose a resident familiar with Antigua prefers the two-word version, so I'll leave it.  – Corinne (talk) 16:25, 18 September 2017 (UTC)

2017 Central Mexico earthquake

Hello, Rothorpe – Just wondering what you thought of the last sentence in the first paragraph of the lede in 2017 Central Mexico earthquake. I'll copy it here:

  • 308 people have been reported killed, 273 of which in Mexico City and surrounding areas, and more than 2,633 injured.

I removed your {puff} tag from Stanley Dance

Mr. Dance was the father of a friend, and I spent a number of hours in the late 1960's refining my knowledge of 1920's jazz in his study. He had a record-collection that I (presently) estimate at more than 6,000 LP discs, and was willing to spend time on a teen-aged Eddie Lang fan.

I essentially re-wrote the article as a linear biography, and added an infobox & referencing. I killed the tag, but felt you'd like to know...

Hope you like the newly-done article!

Hope you are well

Hello, Rothorpe – I notice you have not edited since 9 September. I hope you are well and perhaps traveling with no internet access. I look forward to your return.  – Corinne (talk) 01:01, 4 October 2017 (UTC)

Rothorpe - concern!

@Gerda Arendt: This user suffers from cancer and has not been active on Wikipedia since September 2017. Does anybody know how he might be? User:Corinne expressed concern in October last year (see post above) and unfortunately she passed away in March of this year. William Harris • (talk) • 11:30, 27 May 2018 (UTC)

Thanks for your post William Harris. I have been worried as well. Rothorpe and Corinne worked so well together. The 'pedia is a lesser place without their presence. MarnetteD|Talk 17:29, 27 May 2018 (UTC)
I certainly agree -- where is Ro? I have emailed him a couple of times recently and got no response. Hayford Peirce (talk) 01:49, 28 May 2018 (UTC)
I had an email recently from Cassianto expressing similar concern about Rothorpe, which I share. I greatly hope Rothorpe's absence does not signify the worst. Tim riley talk 20:42, 28 May 2018 (UTC)
