Lily Wilder[edit]

Hi I’m a new page reviewer and I’ve just seen your recent article. I don’t think it’s a good idea to create a biographical article about a four year old girl. It is very likely to be deleted. Reference spamming[edit]

Scientific articles should mainly reference review articles to ensure that the information added is trusted by the scientific community.

Editing in this way is also a violation of the policy against using Wikipedia for promotion and is a form of conflict of interest in Wikipedia – please see WP:SELFCITE and WP:MEDCOI. The editing community considers excessive self-citing to be a form of spamming on Wikipedia (WP:REFSPAM) and the edits will be reviewed and the citations removed where it was not appropriate to add them.

Finally, please be aware that the editing community highly values expert contributors – please see WP:EXPERT. I do hope you will consider contributing more broadly. I was mainly editing niche pages, which no one else want to improve. Now you can see since last 1 year in my absence, none of the Wikipedia editor has improved/edited an iota of content in the pages that i was editing (, including the pages i helped create) but later i was told that i was "adding citations to research published by a small group of researchers." The emerging fields are emerging because of a small group of researchers. That's what distinguishes them from the established disciplines. I just checked it. How would you justify that the QS World Universities website/reports, whose statistics are being cited almost everywhere, is an "Original research [that] refers to material—such as facts, allegations, ideas, and personal experiences—for which no reliable, published sources exist"? I believe, it's a very reliable and objective source because if a university's ranking declines or improves it shows you quantifiable metrics that are driving it. December 2023[edit]
