Please refrain from introducing inappropriate pages, such as French National Underwear Day, to Wikipedia. Doing so is not in accordance with our policies. If you would like to experiment, please use the sandbox.

If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page that has been nominated for deletion (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag - if no such tag exists then the page is no longer a speedy delete candidate and adding a hangon tag is unnecessary), coupled with adding a note on the talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the page meets the criterion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the page that would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the page does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that they userfy the page or have a copy emailed to you. September 2010[edit]

Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from French National Underwear Day, a page you have created yourself. If you do not believe the page should be deleted, you can place a {{hangon}} tag on the page, under the existing speedy deletion tag (please do not remove the speedy deletion tag), and make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will look at your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. TRANSPORTERMAN (TALK) 16:48, 21 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Deletion Proposed for French National Underwear Day[edit]

The article French National Underwear Day has been proposed for deletion. The proposed-deletion notice added to the article should explain why.

While all contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{dated prod}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{dated prod}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. The speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi there :)[edit]

Hi Reno. You left a message on my talk page. I've replied there itself, but am posting a copy of that reply here for your information.

I'm sure it must be a real and interesting thing you do out there. Could you kindly read Wikipedia's policy on why and how every proposed article on Wikipedia should qualify on what we call notability? In other words, articles need to have verifiable information, using reliable sources that prove that there is merit for the topic to be included in our encyclopedia? If you have access to verifiable and reliable sources that prove the notability of this article, do guide me to the same and I'll help you get the article back on track. How does that sound? Feel free to reply to me on my talk page or here. Kind regards. Wifione ....... Leave a message 16:28, 22 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]
