PLUTO detector[edit]

Unfortunately not! I've been checking a few sources (including a very nice history of DESY) but no mention of what the acronym (which I bet it is) stands for. P might be for PETRA, but the rest..? Making future edit requests[edit]

In future, you may wish to follow the steps on this page: WP:Simple_conflict_of_interest_edit_request when you make further edit requests. It's DEFINITELY a good idea to post to WP Physics, like you did. The advantage of also using the template described there is that the request gets automatically added to a list of requested edits that editors can visit. Hello Redactrice at DESY. The nature of your edits gives the impression you have an undisclosed financial stake in promoting a topic, but you have not complied with Wikipedia's mandatory paid editing disclosure requirements. Thanks for the advice! I have created a user page with a short intro that also discloses my COIs and have updated the list here as well (should I delete the COI reference at the top of the page?). I was advised in the beginning to disclose them on the talk page, which is why they had only been listed there.

For all articles I have worked on (comparing versions and different articles to make sure no existing information or text is lost, correcting or updating facts and language, finding new references etc.), I suggested edits on the respective talk pages accompanied by explanations. These suggestions have largely been accepted and published by other Wikipedia authors. I have thus not made any edits myself and, as far as I am aware, I have not broken any Wikipedia rules – please correct me if I’m wrong.
