Welcome to Wikipedia[edit]

Hello Rascouet,

I saw your question at the Teahouse, and want to offer my help with your effort to create articles about notable women scientists. As suggested at the Teahouse, you can use a shortcut like WP:PROF also known as WP:SCHOLAR to review the notability requirements that apply to scientists, academics and scholars. In all honesty, I don't work on biographies of scientists very much, with one exception that comes to mind. But I am interested in working on biographies of women in general, and in helping to counter the systemic bias that resulted in you finding biographies of all the men but not all the women you ran across in your Women's History Month project. I've written biographies of four women, and expanded many others. It can be tricky to learn how to write articles that pass muster here - citing reliable sources of the highest quality is key. Take a look at WP:PRIMER for a good overview, and please feel free to ask me questions on my talk page at any time. Good luck to you, and I hope that you will become a regular contributor here.
