Speedy deletion of Template:Medium (TV Series)[edit]

A tag has been placed on Template:Medium (TV Series) requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section T3 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is a deprecated or orphaned template. After seven days, if it is still unused and the speedy deletion tag has not been removed, the template will be deleted.

Non-commercial licences[edit]

You changed the licence here. The licence cc-by-nc-sa-2.5-in (Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 2.5 India) is a non-commercial licence, and thus treated as unfree (see Commons:Commons:Licensing/Justifications for an explanation). This is why you found that no template exists. This is a photo of a person who is still alive, so an unfree image wouldn't be acceptable (see WP:NFC#UUI §1). I sent an email to the uploader. My fault, the permission statement, at first glance, looked like the standard wording. We get all kinds of personally crafted wording, many of which are not acceptable so I am usually happy to see a certain format, which almost always refers to one of the free licenses. This is the first time I've seen someone modify it to include a non-free license. The fact that the site is run by the production company means that the site has a primary purpose of promoting works from the production house and its primary purpose is NOT presenting all facts from a neutral and reliable point of view.
